I can see at 0:58 (and I've been guilty of this too) whereby after you do the pass turning right you then come back to the racing line turning left. Instead, just straight line the left after passing on the previous turn.. Even though you're a lot faster than him, you are taking the long line around him and so you're just barely ahead of him after the pass. But it's a track day. I've gotten complaints when I've passed on the inside, and the outside, and from passing too fast, and from taking my sweet time. Ultimately there's going to be a lot of riders who really hate being passed, especially from Scott Grey here who is laboring under a huge physical handicap.
So i raced mx all my life just recently stopped after 25yrs at the age of 30 feels like time for a new challenge start to get into road racing been riding on the streets for last 10 yrs got a mt 09 and a vtr 1000 but yeah keep losing my licence so pretty much going to keep to the track but if thats what they call dangerous or gets you kicked off the track i am going to be in trouble.you had plenty of room didn't drop in on his front end and sat behind long enuff for them to hear so yeah dont get it are you only aloud to overtake on straight cause that would suck i make up my time underbraking and corners in mx so thats were ill be aiming to make up time on road but yeah this kind turns me off i didn't know it was so restricted
it’s restricted in the novices groups depending on organizer. this instance this rider was placed/joined the wrong group. This session is the experienced group, riders who should be very predictable and comfortable with close passing. This rider was a novice. instead of warning to me, they should have demoted the rider to a lower group. oh well. it’s rare anyone ever gets ‘kicked’ out unless your totally disrespectful or crash into another bike.
@@flip_moto fair Enuff how do they figure out what group your meant to be in do you have to do laps with a instructed or do you just pick which group to go in cause coming from the dirt world you just rock up and ride the track with everyone else we tell the slower guys to keep to lines don't worry about the faster guys behind they will find away past. and yeah of cause if your a dick there taking out people for no reason they rightfully boot you from the track so I get no contact I only like clean passes myself even in a race I don't want to risk hurting the bike😂

Looked like a safe pass to me.
That was a good amount of space and a very safe pass lol
Good pass, T2 and T6 are perfect spots to pass.
I was expecting a little paint rubbing. Nada.
Nope. Looks like a c pace and was outside pass.
No, you werent close at all, but the other rider was quite wide.....maybe thats why you felt it was close.😂😂😂
i got a warning after this session for passing too close.
@@flip_motoI'll bet that rider you passed was the one who complained. Got to give him a wider berth the next time....
