Riven (2024) [AlucartXI Playthrough]

A playthrough of Riven (2024).
This game is a direct sequel after Myst and a remake of the original game released in 1997. Its a puzzle adventure game where you uncover a story of intrigue, betrayal, and a civilization on the brink of collapse.
Plot: In the beginning of this game, Atrus gives the player a trap book, resembling a linking book, along with his diary detailing the current situation. He is busy rewriting Riven's descriptive book to prevent its decay. The player must enter Riven without a way out until Gehn is trapped. The goal is to trap Gehn, rescue Catherine, and contact Atrus.
In this playthrough, I attempt to get all possible endings this run and most achievents. Few of those I "skipped" either because it took too much time or I just actually forgot one. I actually did my best to edit out a part where you had to open up the prison using the tones of the music box as I actually had a difficult time remembering how it went.
I personally didn't think I'd actually be making such a video like this one given for what it was. Actually brought me back when I played the original '97 release as a kid when it was gifted to me a long time ago; which was kind of why I wanted to share this playthrough. This is now possibly one of my longest records I've ever done in one sitting. o:
