All you need to know about DennisCollects is when he started his eBay account. MAY OF 2020. Gee, what happened about a month before that. Oh yeah, I remember. COVID and the explosion of the bs prices for games. These resellers rope people in with the nostalgia of “collects” when dude films in portrait and mentions NOTHING about collecting. Gotta love it.
What I have noticed with Dennis is when he trades it has to be almost 3x the worth in favor for him or he will not do it. He makes PR look like a saint and that's saying something. I think he takes advantage of younger kids who do not know better as well. He got really bad backlash on one video last year he quit even showing what he trades now because he knows it's so bad and people in the comments call him out for it. Moreoever, I guess the only reason he keeps comments up is if someone is dumb enough to trade him. Best believe if you want a PS5 brand new, you will be trading almost a grand or more in games and consoles before he will even deal with you.

Lol well of course it’s their fault but for example, taking away PS2 compatibility and the Linux boot option. Idk it felt like the PS3 was over promised, then it actually delivered but then they stripped away a lot of it to cut costs and I thought that was pretty crappy of them. They could have kept an expensive one and a budget one. How Microsoft did this generation with the series X and S.

As someone who is a reseller this guy gives me rip off vibes I actually did a TikTok with a trade I got in poking fun at him when I take trades and I like to pay at least 60% of market value in cash if the game/console is working it’s a little bit less if it doesn’t work, but I fix them and flip them. but I do try really hard to give people a fair amount for their stuff.

So as we can tell by that information, it did not sell very well

For around $400-$500 he could probably get one that is good enough for eBay reselling to at least ensure that the discs he is selling will play well. It really makes us resellers look bad who are trying to make an honest living! I hit up the mom-and-pop thrift stores, and clearance deals from retail stores and usually can flip everything up to 30% profit; shipping and fees usually knock that down to about 20% but I feel like I am doing decent and not ripping anyone off! I also am able to make a bit of profit repairing broken electronics.

It is a normal job, infact its better than regular 9-5s you get out there as you're your own boss, you can wake up when you want, work when you want, you get to travel around & have fun finding stuff, you also get to vacation for how ever long you want too. Can you just decide to go on a 2 month vacation with a regular 9-5 out of no where? nope

As you do know in some places theres no pawn shops or retro game stores to go to. Or alot of times they dont have the game they're looking for
It really makes us resellers look bad who are trying to make an honest living! I hit up the mom-and-pop thrift stores, and clearance deals from retail stores and usually can flip everything up to 30% profit; shipping and fees usually knock that down to about 20% but I feel like I am doing decent and not ripping anyone off! I also am able to make a bit of profit repairing broken electronics.
Sounds like you're doing a good job of being right in the pocket of treating people decent. Kudos to you!

It's a shame that greed can take over and ruin all of the good things. I am glad you point out all the craziness in the reselling field.

I remember getting this dudes vids recommended to me through the shorts and i always found his voice annoying. Also the amount of trade he gets for new consoles was insane. I feel like most of the stuff he shows on shorts aren’t actually trades and just stuff he already has just to make content.
Also did you see Murs recent video? I definitely feel like he was seeing either the videos you made on him or comments people leave of him being so aggressive/ DBag. He definitely has a different tone of voice. You should do a comparison of the current video to his earlier ones. Was weird seeing him pick up games that you know damn well he would never play😂 but because they were cheap he went for it. Really felt like a forced video to prove people wrong🤣
