So I haven’t been in a relationship for yearsss, and to see the differences does give insight into what you’ve been accepting overtime. You get to ask, when did we get here? I can’t believe he has been so consistent for so long or wow! He kept his promise to change.

Hey y’all 👋 it’s been forever since anything came over from you guys! I wasn’t getting any notifications at all!!! So happy this popped up! 👍 I’m from the old school! I guess very traditional when it comes to a man asking for my hand in marriage!! I think a man needs to be treated and respected as a man and if women takes on the role of a man then he’s going to eventually feel inadequate, but that’s my opinion! I just think if we’re both speaking the same love language, then it’s understood!! We both understand the assignment, but we have to learn how to communicate with our partners and not assume we are always on the same page. As for telling me what to wear, it definitely depends! I love dressing my man and picking out his smell goods and he doesn’t have any issues with me doing that. But just as much as he doesn’t mine, he does his own thing! However, he considers me and values my opinion on what he’s wearing and I appreciate that and he does the same with me!! It’s about being your authentic self even in your relationship! Don’t lose yourself/identity in your spouse/partner!! Just be yourself and always have respect for each other and I think that’s the key to a healthy and loving relationship. 💯

Whenever you see a well dressed man out with his wife most of the time she picked out what he is wearing because she knows what looks good on him, ( most men are clueless ). But the guy asked he did not tell. Her reaction was awful. I see divorce before they even say I do.

I think it's ok if a woman proposes to a man. It's not the norm but I would be okay with it. Sometimes I wish women would ask men out more to take some of the pressure off the guy once in awhile.

I disagree with your opinion about women proposing to men. I don't think it is particularly men's duty and I don't t see why if she is the one proposing it means things are bad between them or she is pressuring him to get married. I think a woman can perfectly propose to her boyfriend just because she feels it and doesn't care about gender roles and as she knows neither does he, he will not be ofended by seeing her propose to him.

I won't get too much in to proposals, but in general, I've gotten rejected here and there, but I've rejected women too. It's not fair when one gender is at the mercy of the other. At the mercy of the other meaning, one gender makes known that they are interested, and the other gender has control of the situation, they say, "yes I am, or no I'm not interested". The person that says, "yes, I'm interested or no I'm not" has the veto power, or holds the rejection card, and the person that risks their feelings and makes known that they are interested, is at the mercy of the other, they have to hope that the other person is interested back. Any guy that's been rejected shouldn't wish they held the rejection card all the time, and were the one's doing the rejecting either, it's not easy rejecting women, believe me.
It your responsibility to have health communication with this love interest and to be absolutely sure, what it is she desires.
If someone is not be receptive or reciprocal towards you, then there is no reason to put yourself out there like that.
