I didn't hear it mentioned here, but under 'profile' in the menu (XB), there is a tab where you can check what kinds of quests you want active/available. Life, combat, fishing etc. These were *not active* by default for me, basically not having any tutorial quests available from NPCs. This will leave you clueless on what to do in basically every element of the game. Activate these from the gitgo and save yourself a *lot* of growing pains

If you have any interest in this game get it as soon as possible. Start figuring things out while the game is in it's infancy and start gaining capitol as soon as humanly possible. Do yourself a favor and be one of the few that sets the market prices, not the one of the ones forced to pay them.

you should not go yet into Best in Slot as that's still quite a way to go Best in SLot would be full Boss gear and stuff But it seems you could do the Asulas Grind they're 6 Acessories which you can farm in Mediah which will boost your damage quite a bit. Rings and Earrings are dropping at Helms (any Helms) Belt is dropping at Elrics Shrine Necklace is dropping at Abandonned Iron Mine if you wanna know more msg me ^^
The items your workers produce will be in the local storage for the town they are connected to. So, for example, if you have a worker working at a node which is attached to Heidel. The items said worker gathers, will be at the storage keeper in Heidel.
Question: I have played WoW for a long time. I have 7 max level characters and another 5 nearly max leveled characters. I really don't want to maintain that many characters in the next MMO I play. How important or unimportant is it to maintain multiple characters in your opinion? Can 1 character maintain its own economy without the help of supportive alternative characters? Hopefully, I just want to make alt characters to experience different gameplay and not to support professions or economy.
You can max all professions on one character. I did that myself and am still doing that up to a certain point. THe only problem with that is if you're farming at ... Desert and you want to Fish in Grana overnight that's a 20 minute ride that's why i switched Fishing to an alt and stuff. It's advantageous to have as many alts as you can as they generate a currency called "Energy" which can be converted into money as you need Energy to get better workers, gather stuff and some other things but you don't have to actually play them the energy slaves can be lvl 5 (kill 4 mobs and you're there) fromn there you can switch to that char freely
As far as it worked when I played 2016-2019, no upgrading the rating didnt do anything. Energy came from completion of categories, you used to be able to see what was empty by hitting H

they r working with pve content now, the first step of it is known as "Dark Rift" wich is simmiliar to dungeon but its only for 1 player. im sure they will add some dungeon / raid soon

Dunno about its state on XBox but BDO still holds the spot of one of the most played games on Steam, not even counting the people playing off the normal launcher, and now the xbox release might be that you have a harder time to do everything the same on xbox as the about of possible keybinds is limitted but if you can get aroudn that you should have the same experience as on PC. I've been playing for about a year now and haven't notice a decrease in people ... sure some friends have quit but others have appeared.
People who are not a fan of PVP probably should avoid this game. Because you will be forced into it after level 50. While I'm fan of PVP here. I know a lot of Xbox players who aren't. This isn't a good strategy for BDO for console because it's missing 3 years of content. People are going to not get the same BDO experience most PC players are now. When might in part explain why It's getting such mixed reviews on XB1. There are no Dungeons and there is no trading between players per say. Occupations are gender locked and it is grindy to a fault. It's unfortunate that the reviews on Xbox seem to be so mixed. Personally I think Black Desert online is kind of in the same position. Which ESO was when it launched on console. It has of course since improved substantially. So I suspect Pearl Abyss will adjust where improvements are needed.
If people quit the game, probably not lvl 40, probably lvl 56+, or really early on. The grind to 60 is ridiculous if you really want to be competitive, but you can take it chill and just enjoy your time, cos once you hit 56, it's a MASSIVE drop in XP gain.
No, there’s no way for you to use your PC character on Xbox if that’s what you meant. You connect accounts with PC so you can get easier customer service.
an online character gets 1 energy per 3 minutes (without any buffs) an offline character gets 1 energy every 20 or 30 minutes so... if you're playing on Char A, your Char B, Char C, and Char D generate energy at the offline rate. Only time you won't get energy is when they're patching. (not 100% sure about that tho)

I've noticed that a lot of NPCs give out gold bars for quests. Is this an xbox only thing?
Its not. You also get quite a lot of Bars on PC. you'll get a bit less later on but its still enough to start your Eco/get your gear.

Once you unlock an ability that can use black spirit rage a bar should appear under your MP or WP and once it's at 100% use said ability

It's 100% worth it, the only issue is the use of combos lol you use so many accidentally at the beginning. But yeah, it's actually great.

Iv heard most people quite around what levl? 40 or so? The grind to 60 is more than ridiculous. Least thats what iv heard...
If people quit the game, probably not lvl 40, probably lvl 56+, or really early on. The grind to 60 is ridiculous if you really want to be competitive, but you can take it chill and just enjoy your time, cos once you hit 56, it's a MASSIVE drop in XP gain.

No, there’s no way for you to use your PC character on Xbox if that’s what you meant. You connect accounts with PC so you can get easier customer service.

Is my energy recovering when offline?
an online character gets 1 energy per 3 minutes (without any buffs) an offline character gets 1 energy every 20 or 30 minutes so... if you're playing on Char A, your Char B, Char C, and Char D generate energy at the offline rate. Only time you won't get energy is when they're patching. (not 100% sure about that tho)
