I get the most nostalgia from Kai’s first two, but I love that classic melody in DB and DBZ’s themes. Kai’s Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go and GT’s both work as beautiful send offs to the series and I love the energy in Super’s Limit Break X Survivor. So many good themes!
Yeah supposedly the tapes Toei sends to international distributors nowadays is just missing the music on the version of preview footage that’s supposed to be ADR’d, and since they cant technically insert the music back in themselves for legal reasons and toei wont let them splice the tapes together with older versions that DO have it, distributors have just opted to drop the NEPs altogether Dragon ball only has one opening and one ending animation overseas for a similar reason; they lost the textless versions of the second opening and the other three endings Theyre unfortunately a very stubborn, old fashioned company suffering from a lot of short sighted decisions theyve made over the decades
Yeah, you'd need to have the Dragon Boxes to see the NEPs for the first three series, and only Z's Dragon Box came out stateside, and even it's rare as hell.

Sorry for the late reply! The theme itself is a short version of Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku Orchestral version, I had to edit it myself since it didn't exist in short form without the talking.
But the first song... c'mon, is trully epic as well. Ont he other hand, its is troublesome when some people say that DBZKai is nostalgia... nostalgia means "the 1990's".
I believe Yamamoto plagiarized some of his music so he was removed in the first run of Kai. In the Final Chapters, Sumitomo takes over and he did the music for Super as well.

All the shows did. Funimation didn’t have them for the original series but they were on the Japanese Dragon Boxes.
