Start preheating your skillet to medium heat and spray with oil or add butter to grease the pan. Pour a quarter (1/4) cup of batter into the pan for each pancake and cook like a pancake. Then serve with butter and applesauce.

I feel if they made mashed potatoes then added pancake mix after it would turn out amazing. That way the potatoes are fully cooked and when everything is mixed you’ll get a nice even cook and the potatoes will crisp up a little bit
Instant mashed potatoes from a box are perfect for this.

Charlie peals potatoes so hard, he´s throwing away half of the potato while still keeping some of the potato skin. It´s fascinating and frightening at once.
I remember being strangely horrified while watching. I was quaking in my boots, and when he said honestly proud of himself "look at this technique" it sent me over the edge of insanity.
He truly did master the way of the potato.
