Strands: Rangsk Perfect, Mini: I struggled - 3:00 😐 I had SOLO as well which threw me off and then misspelled EMERY. Bagel didn't immediately come to mind. I also looked up definitions of those 2. The fact that they didn't have clear definitions actually helped significantly. I figured they had to both be purple and I stated breaking the words apart to try to find common traits that way. I saw the dance theme pretty quickly once I knew they had to be purple

I personally haven't used the link for the Wordle video myself, but it's usually because I seek out your page and I tend to watch Wordle first since I also solve Wordle first myself. But I do think it's super helpful to have a link at the end for people!
@@Rangsk maybe it’s just me then haha, idk todays was pretty easy to see (for me) when I saw “cycle” yesterday, i tried bi__, and when that didn’t work, i thought of tri__ and it worked when i saw “nicotine” and tried to think of a fill in the blank, patch came to mind pretty fast when i saw “batter” a few days ago, I thought of baseball and “batter up” and then saw the other ones with “__ up” since they’ve been more to do with fill in the blanks and wordplay recently, and less about trivia, maybe that’s why i’ve been able to do better. Also I think i’m just getting used to how NYT structure their purple categories and already have a list of things I try to do to find purple haha
I was so very sure BALLY was somehow short for ballywick (actually, bailiwick) & DISCOG was short for discography, & this was the purple category for like informal terms for a person's wheelhouse. No mistakes, but I was confidently wrong about purple. 😀
🟨🟦🟪🟩 yellow was super easy, then didn’t really know blue it just felt like those four went together, then after I was down to 2 I noticed the purple, mostly cause of disco. I knew green category, but didn’t know cloister and silo meant that. No mistakes.
I saw nickel right away in strands but I guess I spelled it wrong and had no idea, so I didn’t think that was the category anymore and then had to use a hint and found out that was the category so a little annoyed I spelled nickel wrong lol i must have spelled it nickle, didn’t know that would be accepted or even a real word
The ore the metals come from are minerals but the words in the grid are the actual metals from the ore and are classed as metals in the periodic table so yes, they are metals. E.G. the metal cobalt is produced from the mineral cobalite.

Not sure what you mean. They are all elemental metals on the periodic table.
