San Francisco Ballet School Overview

San Francisco Ballet School offers a challenging curriculum, taught by faculty members drawn from the ranks of SF Ballet and companies around the world. The School benefits from its close relationship with the Company. In fact, the School is a fundamental part of the institution-more than half of the Company’s dancers are graduates. I was a scholarship student at SFB School in 1977-78 when it was on 18th Avenue and Richard Cammack was the school director. I think they started building the "new" (now 40+ years old) SFB building soon after I left. Great school, great teachers, great company.
