It's so sweet when Lily holds your hand. My daddy is 85 and I'm 59 and I still hold his hand when we go places together. Little girls love their Daddy's. That's something I especially like about your vlog Justin, you show men how to be a good father.

A free range turkey will decimate a tomato crop in a day too. ASK ME HOW I KNOW, lol. You could use metal landscape staples on that bottom row of the fence too, since it is not energized.

Thank you. I'm using (and LOVE) the Canon M50. I actually recommend it to anyone who wants to vlog. Inexpensive, easy to use and is super lightweight. From what I remember, to.ato plants are part of the nightshade family. The fruit is fine, but the leaves and stems are poisonous. I do not know if it will make them sick or kill them eventually.

To move the chickens into fresh grass regularly/daily. You change your mind this year? Or maybe I am just over active.
Yes and No. I have one posse that's moving almost every day behind the cows to work the manure. This Posse in the Animal Garden Miracle Posse and their job is to till, fertilize, shred and spread compost for a future garden area. So, they'll stay their a number of weeks until the job is done, then probably move to what I call a "compost corner" where they'll stay longer term and receive materials for them to make compost.

I forgot. Geese eat yellow jackets! Where ever the yellow jackets land if any geese are resting the geese will snap them up. The sound of the beaks snapping scares the yellow jackets.
Do you clip both wings? When I started with chickens I was advised to only clip one because sometimes they can still make it over things with short wings. Never had a problem with only one clipped. If they are jumping through then what good is an electric fencing for the $ it costs ?

I think u need a decent perimeter fence around ya property and use them light electric fences to segregate them so even if they get out they cant just walk off...... would suck if the pigs got out

I wish y'all to be a little more kind and patient to Randolph. It's not entirely his fault the project is behind. Yeah it's frustrating your target wasn't met but y'all changed plans, he found mold and y'all added more jobs for the old feller so that's just how it's got to be. Getting annoyed he took a planned anniversary trip for him and his wife instead of working on your kitchen isn't neighborly or Godly.

The permaculture guru who hasn't planted any trees. It's a disgrace that when you search permaculture on youtube you get brought to this guy. Justin, you need to try and remember what it is that you learned from Geoff Lawton.
Thanks for the feedback. There may be a mistake though... I have planted trees. We planted an entire orchard and a grove of elderberries. Admittedly we should still go in and add some companions. However, I must say/admit I am not a perfect permaculturalist, however any individual might define that. Certainly Geoff would be proud (and disappointed) in me in various aspects of my life and farm. I'm just a guy trying to love on his family while growing most of his own (healthy) food in a way that leaves the land better than it was. Certainly not perfect, BUT "everyday, in every way, I am getting better."
