A little grease on the cocking ramp is also a good idea and makes the bolt open smoother :-)

Disclaimer: most all bolts on a bolt action rifles do not, do not need to come apart ever for cleaning; Yes! I repeated myself. Naphtha and a lite mineral oil are all you will ever need. There are casualties of combustion in a bolt action rifle and not one of them are in the bolt - at all; not even a Tee-Nighty.

Use protective glasses when you use the spray. If it gets in your eyes it burns. Trust me eye know. :p

What is the name of that tool you used to “unlock” the bolt? That’s pretty slick if you ask me

The bolt is not entirely cleaned! A complete clean "inside out" requires the removal of the extractor and plunger as well!

Depends on the bolt, Remington 700 when you remove the extractor you can't reuse it and have to replace it.

How about using an ultrasonic cleaner. If you spend 5 to 10K on a rig spend money on a cleaning machine. This is a good video. Keep up the content.

When spraying solvent, you really should wear safety glasses. getting that stuff in your eyes is NOT good.
