This lesson explains everything that you need to know about enlargement for Maths GCSE (Higher and Foundation.)
Here are the key points to remember:
After an enlargement is applied to a shape the side lengths will be scaled by the scale factor but the angles will remain the same.
To fully describe an enlargement you need to state the scale factor and the centre of enlargement.
To find the centre of enlargement you need to draw lines that connect the corresponding vertices of two shapes together.
To find the scale factor of an enlargement you need to divide the lengths of two corresponding sides.
A negative scale factor will cause the shape to appear on the opposite side of the centre of enlargement.

very helpful only thing is how do u know when finding the scale factor to divide 1.5/3 and not 3/1.5
bcs u divide the value of the enlarged image by the original and not the other way around
