Depends is totally based on how long you guys spend together after marriage if you guys spend more then 1 year together then you can apply dependent work visa in this case you partner can work full time and if that is less then 6 month then you have apply dependent visit visa in this case you partner can’t work until you guys spend 3 months together here in NZ and change the visa to dependents work
