Wow what an awesome company, +5***** in every way, to stop and think about just moving a tree if it`s in our way is surely a massive step for mother nature to flourish, loved watching that.
hats off to your coordinatet efford in transplant (IT IS CALLED TRANS PLANT) cheers and my praise goes to all the safety measures you have taken after removal and also at planting site.
Sometimes the tree goes into shock and doesn't make but has a way better chance because it's still has its dirt and soil pattern from the other location and the roots are not moved this procedure is a ASAP transplant if need to be out longer would have to be potted some make it some don't get insurance on big trees like this you never know it could die
upon transportation of the trees it is recommended to cover the limbs with a wind tarp to avoid any damages from wind as it travels down the road also heat can't put the tree on a risk of a heat stroke so it is advisable to cover the tree on hot climate areas
+Vern Harris do you realise you will be in a team going nowhere.a better job is maintenance and repair of a rare machine.niche job.harder to get but once you got it you stay for life. a machine that creates work instead of saving time.genius.
Please see if you can raise huge donations in Australia and send donate this machine to A.P Government, so that the devastated Vizag may be replanted with number of trees and greenery would be back much sooner. Else the coming 2 more generations also can't see a tree in Vizag. You would not only be able to help the ecology but also make it a happening city!!! Please thing of!!
I don't know how many damage it makes to the robots. but it looks amazing. Great idea. i hope that tree grow up strong.
Depends. It can enter a state of shock and die, they are living beings afterall. But if done quickly and not alot of roots are cut off it can survive no problem. Trees are very hardy. One thing that is a misconception about trees is they dont actually send their roots that deep, more so sideways, they connect to other trees as a system, so digging one out you wont actually hurt the deep roots because there arent that many.
I'm pretty sure machines like this existed in Soviet Union. I once walked with a girl just outside my city in central Russia and we saw a plantation of trees (I can only guess the purpose -- maybe future urban planning) with some rows ending with perfectly round or sqare pits. So, there were at least two different types of tree removal machines in USSR.
Doesnt this cause a environment shock for the tree ? I would surely assume there would be a ton of prep for the soil well before something like this is done ?

Very interesting. I hope DENR and DPWH Philipppines will learn from this. AURAPHIL thanks for sharing.
Bravo pour la technique, ils sont forts !
amazing...I didn't realizing such equipment existed. If more people were aware of this, they wouldn't cut down such trees during road reconstruction.
I love trees too!

Does the tree really survive? I think this works on relatively smaller trees

This machine looks cool. Now they need a bigger machine for the bigger trees. Now i am wondering if they have similar machines for bigger trees.
