One thing I like is knowing the Cybertronians weren't always weapon weilding murder machines. There's always a beginning. I actually suspect the movie will be a tragedy, considering the Autobots FLEE from their homeworld and seek refuge elsewhere. The comedy put me off too, since Transformers are usually fairly serious and ruthless. However, looking to how comedic/joking some Autobots can be, maybe it's not unrealistic for this kind of humor to unfold. This will especially make Optimus Prime a tragic hero however. Going from smiling, and joking too, to eventually only being that serious/stoic leader we see him as today. I'm interested in this film! Hoping the franchise revives like never before. Nice to see you react to it!!
Comedy definitely caught me by surprise. Not complaining tho. I’m pretty sure the movie will have its serious moments. It reminds me of the shows. They balance the comedy and serious sides pretty well.
@JAReviews23 Im pretty confident this movie wont particularly have a happy ending just due to the fact that: its a prequal- We know Megatron will turn evil. We know Cybertron falls, we know a war starts. Optimus is gonna lose his best friend. I can see the movie ending with a new beginning, but one that is still a hard pill for the heros to swallow. Which intrigues me most about this film.
