Cooking with Cricket (cricket516) I've seen a couple of versions of it. The one with 4 cups of apple pie filling to one box of cake mix looked better than this. It was ok. I'd have to tweak it before making it again ❤️
Looks really good and so simple... Here's a thought you might could try... I bet you could make an amazing Black Forest style cake with that recipe ... Just substitute chocolate cake mix and use chocolate frosting

Thanks for the video! I like the color of the color, especially with the bits of cherries and the bit of glaze. However, from what you said, I am sorry that the flavor was rather uninspiring. Honestly, a lot of easy, quick, and "just a few ingredient" recipes are somewhat mediocre, so I am not surprised that you said it needed something else. Maybe a teaspoon of almond extract in the cake itself, combined with something a bit sour? I once made a strawberry pie, and it was somewhat mediorce because it was very "flat," so when I made a sweet cherry pie, I added some lemon juice along with almond extract, and it was delicious. It's amazing how just one or two extra ingredients can really make something delicious.
