I solved 4th riddle in different way. I just looked at all the letters on paper, for "black" it didn't contain letters "B" and "L", for "silver" it didn't contain letters "S", "I" and "V". I was sure it was golden key, because all "golden" letters were in it. xD
Riddle 3 math SPOILER (nothing special but just out of boredom) You can solve this riddle easily with math like this: first just substitute bee and flower to get something easier to write: x = bee y = flower Statement 1: Each bee lands on a flower and one bee does not get a flower so in other words there is always one bee more than a flower so we get this equation: x = y + 1 Statement 2: If all the bees are trying to share a flowers as pairs we have one flower left so we got this equation: y = (x/2) + 1 The + 1 is necessary because well one flower is must be left afterall! Next we just put one equation into the other. In this case we just put y + 1 into the second equation: y = ((y + 1) / 2) + 1 y = (y/2) + (1/2) + 1 y = (y/2) + (3/2) (y/2) = (3/2) y = 3 --> now we know we have 3 flowers Last step is we just put the result of y into the first equation like this: x = 3 + 1 x = 4 --> now we know we have 4 bees That's it!
Got all correct for d 1st time.... keep on posting more challenging riddles... especially those game problems(riddles) on Number Theory... really like those....😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍💓💓💓💓💓
1. Had it right 2. Didn't think of it 3. Didn't understand it entirely, thought I had it right lol 4. I actually did get this right, saw "a golden" with each first letter. 5. I didn't understand it, if it was 20 meters, plus 20 meters, the answer should have been 60
Riddle 5 Solution which isnt exactly a riddle but a Mathematics Problem. It is worded weird but you have to use their constant velocities. Say Daniel crosses the finish line in 10 s. That means Daniel is going at 10 m/s. If Sarah is 20 m behind she is going at 8 m/s and finishes the race in 12.5 seconds. When Sarah finishes the race at 12.5 seconds, Patrick is at 80 m. X*12.5s=80m so X=6.4 m/s. This means that at 10s when Daniel crosses the finish line Patrick is 6.4m*10= 64m and 100-64 = 36m.
The last one is wrong. You said 20m was the distance between each, and if they are moving at constant speed they will always be at 20m distance. The question has to be posed differently for the percentages to work out.
right. with the constant speeds and distances it would have been 40 meters no matter what. I think they tried to reword a percentages question; but they werent using percentages, they were using distance at a constant speed.
The last one is improperly worded.You sad Sara beat Patrick by 20m. But the gap between 64m and 80m is not 20m.You should have used the word percentage from start.Otherwise it was a great video.Really enjoyed.👍🏻
No. Wording was correct. You made a wrong assumption. OP made a mistake on the second riddle, but the 5th one was clear. Sara did beat Patrick by 20 meters at the end of the race, but when she was at 80 meters, Patrick was at 64 meters.
They all started at the same line at the same time, distance between them was 0 at the begining, but each one has a different speed. The distance between them was not constant, Sara was getting farther and farther away from Patrick each second, so by the time she ended the race (100 meters) patrick was still at 80 meters. But, before that, when Sara was at 80 meters, Patrick was at 64 meters. A simpler way to see it is imagining Sara is running at 10 meters per second, while Patrick runs at 8 meters per second. At 8 seconds, Sara has advanced 8 x 10 = 80 meters, while Patrick has advanced 8 x 8 = 64 meters. At 10 seconds, Sara has advanced 10 x 10 = 100 meters, end of her race, while Patrick has advanced 10 x 8 = 80 meters.
They all have constant speeds. By reaching the 100, we learned Sarah reached 80. Meaning Saray is only going 8/10 of Daniel's speed. The second information tells us Patrick goes 80% of sarah, meaning he goes 80% of the 80% is 64
Riddle 3 was not worded properly. Statement 1 should have been "The number of bees outnumber the number of flowers by one" Saying, "If each bee lands on a flower..." implies that all bees land on a flower, which is not possible without doubling up and is confusing. There is also nothing within the second statement to imply that all bees must double up and share a flower, instead of only one pair.
damn, i should have seen the first one go, it's just about think outside of the box where you don't just take 1 specific of what they ask but to see the whole image!

Same here. Seems like if the message was "Golden kills you", we will be outta luck.
Same.
Same here!
@@ChillstoneBlakeBlast No because then you still wouldn't know the right key if that was the message
Same here.. i noticed that the letters for black and silver were not in the paper, so if no information about them, it had to be the golden..
Failed the easy ones, got the hard ones right
Riddle 3 math SPOILER (nothing special but just out of boredom)
You can solve this riddle easily with math like this:
first just substitute bee and flower to get something easier to write:
x = bee
y = flower
Statement 1: Each bee lands on a flower and one bee does not get a flower so in other words there is always one bee more than a flower so we get this equation:
x = y + 1
Statement 2: If all the bees are trying to share a flowers as pairs we have one flower left so we got this equation:
y = (x/2) + 1
The + 1 is necessary because well one flower is must be left afterall!
Next we just put one equation into the other. In this case we just put y + 1 into the second equation:
y = ((y + 1) / 2) + 1
y = (y/2) + (1/2) + 1
y = (y/2) + (3/2)
(y/2) = (3/2)
y = 3 --> now we know we have 3 flowers
Last step is we just put the result of y into the first equation like this:
x = 3 + 1
x = 4 --> now we know we have 4 bees
That's it!
Than man I couldn't figure out how to do the second equation lol
I just picked the gold key for the fourth one because the lock was gold.
Not because the letters to spell SILVER or BLACK weren't in the note?
Recap in riddle 2 is false: says "3 chains of 4links" instead of "4 chains of 3links"
Recap in riddle 3 too
