Kythira is a hidden gem. The world knows Mykonos, Santorini, and 5 or 6 popular islands. Kythira is the secret kept for Greeks and a few foreigners. Thus, I have mixed feelings about videos of this kind. On the one hand, I am happy that people around the globe will appreciate this gorgeous tiny island, on the other hand, I hate the idea of Kythira becoming a mass tourist attraction. You know what I mean.
your points doesn't make much sense, does it? You say that the world only knows a couple of islands but you also hate the idea of Kythira having more tourist attraction?
the world only knows those islands because they have the infrastructure to serve high amounts of tourism. That needs to be built in islands like Kythira to accommodate more tourism, what's the point of promoting more those islands if you don't have capacity to host more people in a sustainable way. From experience all places are booked out before summer even beggins.
We wish you a good year 2022. And thank you for this 🙏
