This game, for me personally, was the most fun I had with the story at first. Great boss fights, cool detective mission, cinematic bank scene, actually a good Bane. Great Gotham design and honestly although it was quite a few of the same areas as city, the game I just played, I couldn’t really tell lol.

Apart from the somewhat slow travel speed and the bugs I really enjoyed Origins. The gameplay doesn't really feel that different and it had the best boss fights for sure. I also like to point out the Mad Hatter part in this game, I thought it was really cool. I like it better than Asylum in terms of gameplay but since I also don't really like prequels that much I can't like it more than Knight and City but it's not trash at all like some people say.
it’s a great game. Where it lacks polish in gameplay mechanics, it picks up in setting, music and character. People complained about the joker fake out, and while i agree it’s always nice for some lesser recognised characters to get the spotlight, the dynamic between batman and joker is so perfectly finished with the christmas theme. I may be biased because i have a lot of nostalgia for it, but enjoyment is enjoyment

i think a big part of its technical issues are because of the pc port. i played trough the games a lot of times on xbox one and 360 and never have i ever seen the croc fight do that

The batman VA in this is really good tho? You really think Kevin was as good in knight as he was in City coz I definitely think his age caught up to him tho mark sounds amazing as always. Troy wasn't bad as joker but then he basically only copies Hamills voice in a way so it's not particularly good but then its not bad either. The open world is really crowded with buildings and the bridge is just the worst part of the game where you literally do nothing. Boss fights and music were ready good too

Firstly, his voice, Kevin did a VERY bad job in the last game, sounded a lot older than Batman actually was, not just that, as other person commented - he could barely keep the voice together... Also, Batman was the most pessimistic and unconfident in Arkham Knight compared to other games, and also, everyone in the game was constantly commenting about how he was getting old and how he was "losing his touch" and getting clumsy overall, etc.... And I mean, EVERYONE, be it friend or foe... This really ruined the immersion I had in other Arkham games where I felt like a badass as Batman. So, how was Batman best in Knight when he was literally the most questioned in his abilities and capabilities by himself, by friends and by enemies and constantly? And this was also demonstrated in him getting caught in situations, and making mistakes, where Batman normally wouldn't have got caught in and made them? And also his voice was really off and VA was just not where it needed to be? While Batman in Arkham Origins was the most inexperienced one and briefly questioned his abilities in one episode, he was objectively the most badass out of every Arkham game. VA was on point, he was very brutal, in his peak in terms of physical strength, most violent in interrogations, and had the most brutal personality... Also, was part of many cool cinematic cutscenes (absent in other Arkham Games) demonstrating his abilities, skills and how he inflicted fear in others...
In my Opinion Origins was the best. That version of Batman was just so Angry and scary. He fit the role of a young Bruce really well. And it had some of the best Boss battles of the Arkham games. Such as Deathstroke’s boss fight it was amazing. My least favorite had to be Asylum, in terms of story it was badass. And I actually loved tf out of Killer Croc in Asylum. But the shitty stealth mechanics followed by the way Batman spoke it just didn’t work. Cus in the time of Origins the Batman is meant to just be an urban myth. Which add’s that much more fear, or like when he dropped Loose Lips. Off of the Clock Tower, He was Strong, Smart, And scary just like a Batman should be.
the only bad things about this game are glitches, small inconsistencies, and reused assets, but other than that such as story, certain new gadgets like the remote claw, mad hatter, deadshot, deathstroke, the soundtrack, and some sound designs, this game could have been on par with the arkham games shout out to Roger Craig Smith for such a phenomenal job as batman i heard good things about online, but i never got to play it

Im so sick of the flack this game gets most likely from people who just go with the grain and dont really care about batman. This game was very good, maybe not the best of them but very good nonetheless. Montreal gave Bruce so much personality as the younger him that you can feel his anger and frustration throughout his ordeals. Thats what brought this game from decent to excellent. I think the original hate just stemmed from the game not being developed by Rocksteady, and I get it, but its not that big of a deal and doesnt degrade the game in any way for that sole reason.
Charlie makes games boring for himself by either using some speedrun strat, cheesing the bosses or intentionally limiting his experience by not using upgrades, it would’ve helped make it alot more fun.🤦🏽♂️

City has a better story. I haven't played Origins, though from what I gather better side missions and villains (shows more of the lesser known villains like Copperhead and The Executioner) as well as a little of everything. I recently finished City and Knight again so I'm heading back to Asylum then see if I can't get my hands on Origins and dust off my PS3, you can stream it from PS Now but I have terrible internet.

Asylum has hand downs the best atmosphere of all the Arkham games, I replay that game at least 1 time every year just because i love the design of the asylum that much.

Batman Arkham Origins has arguably the best intro cinematic cutscene out of all the other Arkham games.

Origins was an underrated gem in the Arkham (main) series. Being overshadow by City, but it still feels great to play aside from a couple of issues.
