I doubt it would really play that well for service personnel; they tend to be trained with music selection that are used in rituals (such as flag salutes and military marches, etc.) but I could conceivably be wrong about that. The US military culture also tends to be kind of "macho" hence I'm guessing a lot of military people have never even HEARD OF Celtic Woman unless they served on bases in the UK.

I saw the Believe show in Kansas City a couple of weeks ago, and I can honestly say that of the five Celtic Woman live concerts I have attended, this was was definitely the best. As good as the Believe DVD is, there is nothing like seeing them do it live. If they do a fall extension of the tour and come anywhere near here, I will definitely be in the audience!

I know this video is several years old, but when I saw the Celtic Women live at the verizon theater in Grand Prairie, TX. they did this song and I can't remember if it was this song or Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears song that, at the end of it, the bag pipes was playing Amazing Grace.. Oh I got goosebumps and shills running down my spine when hearing it and talking about it I have it again. It was so powerful. And the best, amazing part about it was that the audience was singing amazing grace. ohh man that was so awesome. one of the best concerts I have ever been too.

Yet he chooses to "see" the good side of the coin, even as a blind man. Perhaps he sees things that sighted people manage not to notice.

Every 4th of July, and maybe September 11th, I'm going to listen to this song. Of course I'll listen to it more than those two times, but I will DEFINITELY listen to it on those days.

I saw the Believe show in Kansas City a couple of weeks ago, and I can honestly say that of the five Celtic Woman live concerts I have attended, this was was definitely the best. As good as the Believe DVD is, there is nothing like seeing them do it live. If they do a fall extension of the tour and come anywhere near here, I will definitely be in the audience!

It was written by Brendan Graham, an Irishman, specially for Celtic Woman as a tribute to America following the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers.

Really ought to be added to our national songs. My gg grandparents left Ireland, Cork county. Found homes in Indiana, Chicago North Dakota, where my great gram married into my indigenous family. Ojibwe/Sioux, Metis.& finally settled in Minnesota. Proud of all my heritage...still filling in some of my Irish familial blanks. Don’t know much of their lives in Ireland.

I know this video is several years old, but when I saw the Celtic Women live at the verizon theater in Grand Prairie, TX. they did this song and I can't remember if it was this song or Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears song that, at the end of it, the bag pipes was playing Amazing Grace.. Oh I got goosebumps and shills running down my spine when hearing it and talking about it I have it again. It was so powerful. And the best, amazing part about it was that the audience was singing amazing grace. ohh man that was so awesome. one of the best concerts I have ever been too.

it is somewhat ironic however to point out that "...Beautiful and Angelical voices God has Blessed them with..." is a judgment. I didn't say I disagreed with it, but the reality of life is that we are "judging" so often that we do not really even notice what we are doing half the time. It's ironic but I hesitate to say more than that.
