question I need answered asap! "who is in control of the conversation at the balcony scene? Romeo or Juliet? Look for examples in the text to support your idea of who is the stronger character.

    Can someone please answer
Why do they use figurative language to express their feelings?

They use figurative language to express feelings because figurative language is more powerful and more special than ordinary language. If you tell your girlfriend that she is pretty, she will be pleased. If you tell her the moon is jealous of her beauty and she is as beautiful as the sun, she will believe you truly care about her and that she is not just another pretty girl.

Juliet goes into the house, then comes right back out to tell Romeo that the next day she will send a messenger to find out when and where she is to meet and marry him. Juliet is again called back into the house. Romeo starts to leave, but Juliet again comes back out to arrange a time for her messenger to go to Romeo. Romeo tells her that the messenger should come at nine in the morning. They finally say goodbye. After Juliet leaves, Romeo says he will go to the cell of Friar Lawrence to get his help.

So romeo wants Juliet to kill the virgin moon,, but then tries to swear by it?

You are very observant. The first time Romeo talks about the moon, he refers to it as being the goddess Diana. Romeo wants Juliet to stop being a follower of the moon-goddess Diana because he wants Juiliet to "cast off" her virginity. Later, instead of referring to the moon as a goddess, Romeo wants to swear by the real, not the symbolic moon, but Juliet asks him not to because the moon is "inconstant," always changing its position. Romeo uses flowery language to show his love, but he mixes up his imagery. He shows his immaturity.
