I think the dude clouding everyone in soot and carbon deserves punishment, that seemed more purposeful than the wake of a vehicle breaking windows of already flooded and damaged buildings

1:23 Frame.. 🤔 I can not decide which is the coolest? The SUV driving through a Snow tunnel or the Snow Blower causing the awesome visual. It is so freaking COOL to watch!
Great clips, but many went by too quickly -- *WAY* too quickly. They were no more than still photos flashed on the screen too fast to identify. Please allow the viewers time to see _and understand_ what they are viewing.

15:24 that plane is likely fighting a heavy headwind up there. He may not even realize for a hot minute he's not moving because his airspeed might by 90 knots (probably not that fast). Also appears to be a bushplane. He may be sitting there due to the high winds intentionally keeping his airspeed above stall speed and his ground speed next to 0. Bushplanes generally have pretty low stall speeds. 40mph winds might keep him in the air.

Because GROUND speed DOES NOT matter unless you are on the ground. AIR SPEED IS ALL THAT MATTERS THERE. There's another video out there of a bush plane with big fat tires setting down on the rocky bank or sand bar of a river at almost no ground speed. That's the same thing here. The ground speed doesn't matter if you are in the air. His/Their air speed is more than enough for wind to flow over the wings and to provide LIFT to the plane to stay airborne. That's all that matters -- if there is enough air flowing the way it should over the wings to provide lift.

American trucker here. These were all bran new empty cans on the way to another factory, to get filled. I've hauled plenty of these can loads, and never had that problem. Usually those spills happen in the warehouses, with the fork lifts having mishaps

In the plane video, i wonder if it's a good practice to keep your ailerons in the nose down position and if it would have stopped it from 'taking off'
I think what you ment is the elevators down and yes that is what you should do but in this case the plane would have still taken-off but would have gone nose down right away. It might have caused less damage. The best thing to do is to tie the aircraft down.

that same style of airplane got lifted by the wind in late August, slammed upside down into the taxiway, where the pilot died but passenger survived. They were waiting for take off clearance when it happened. So crazy!

That is a Lancair 320/360. My father and I built one. They are great planes. Fast. 210 mph was the cruise speed for two people.

@Mike S Lol! It does seem like that. It's always a surprise to the pilot! I think the stats are similar to this: 72 million GA flights in the US per year with 130 fatal flights with 235 fatalities. I'm not sure how updated that is for 2022. Higher than it should be however... It's a great hobby/profession and recurrent training will increase your chances so your expected fatality rate is effectively super close to Zero. Last year in 2021 52,000 died in auto accidents in the US.
I have seen a lot of timewasting videos similarly titled, but this one is completely worth it. Worthwhile.
