I did a wedding for 1100 guest. The bride ordered Italian Creme with 151. Because I’m big on flavor & texture, I changed the 151 to Barcardi Black. They loved it.

I think it's a good idea to make one whole block first before you do all your series piecing. I have caught many errors that way. Just an idea.

I love my Wedding Ring die, but wish you would add additional die to square off the blocks or square off top for adding borders.

Did you use the Go Big die #55258? I’ve tried all of the directions I can find and it’s not working, any suggestions?

I agree with Anna. While leaving the rings as the edge of the quilt is traditional, some variations included border to square off the block. I would really like to be able to make this "modern" variation.

Why when she put the arch paper template over the edges was there "a quarter inch seam allowance" peeking off both ends ? Isn't that shape made to the alternate shape for the pieced arch (ie it should be exactly the same size as the pieces arch before it's sewn into the ring?)?

It does no match up because the pieced arch has the 1/4" seam allowance.

I'm with you, the arch template should be the exact same size as the pieced arch, because both include seam allowance. There's no reason why they should be different sizes.

I would use the template to mark a 1/4" stitching line on the pieced arch since my concept of 1/4" varies from patch to patch (!). In fact, I wish the Accuquit would crease the 1/4" stitching line on each patch.

I have the 12 in double wedding ring and the "d" piece doesn't have a notch on the top any tips in sewing the small arch to "c"
