~Rules of the journey to complete all lines~.
Rule 1: You are free to set the date, start, and goal of the challenge. In other words, you are allowed to stay overnight before or after the challenge at a hotel near your departure or arrival point.
Rule 2: Participants may use any means of transportation other than the route of the challenge, including taxis, buses, etc. Cabs, buses, etc. are acceptable.
Rule 3: Toll trains are acceptable.
Rule 4: Sections where regular passenger trains do not run, such as freight lines, are excluded from the conditions for achievement.
Rule 5: When passing through a station, even if the train does not pass through a track adjacent to a platform, it is considered to have passed through the station if it passes through the station premises.
(In cases where it is difficult to determine whether a train passes through a station by the above rules, such as on a double track section, the criteria for achievement of each section are determined based on the route for fare calculation determined by each company.)

山線はいつも混んでますね…
観光客は昼間の一本が一番使いやすからですかね…増便は難しいと思いますが増結はしてほしいですね、、、
自分が乗った時もあまり身動きができないくらいで1両でした、、、
何より山線なくなってほしくなかったな…
確かに列車交換設備は沢山あるので、臨時便を出して欲しいですね。

ありがとうございます！いつもゆっくりご飯を食べている時間がないので、携帯食かコンビニ飯で済ましてしまっていますので、時間がある時ぐらい現地のものを食べないといけないと思いました。
車両が新しくなって快適になったと思います。函館が新鮮ですね。
そうですね。
20年くらい前に札沼線を乗った時は、まだ末端区間も3往復くらいありました。「新十津川」の駅から役場まで歩いてそこからバスで「滝川」駅まで移動することができました。
20年前はまだまだ色んな路線がありましたからねぇ。
函館本線山線はやや閑散区間でしたが、2日目は比較的運行本数の多い区間を攻められましたね。
山線非電化区間は特急からも見捨てられて普通旅客も多くなく、新幹線転換で在来線廃止でも文句が出ないんだろうな。ただ、例外なのが余市町。乗車人員が1,000人を超えてきたら、バスでは間に合わないよ。小樽駅周辺の道路が大渋滞になって後悔するのが目に見えてる。
それでも小樽〜余市間は交流電化することができないので、合理化のために廃止にあるんですよね。バスでなんとか間に合わせたいというのがJR北海道側の希望なんだと思います。
函館山線はもう永遠に空かないんですかね…
休みの日に行かなければ多少は空いているのではないでしょうか。
私が昭和60年にやった時は12日間かけても終わらなかった…😵
路線距離が全然違いますからね。
