Why is it important to have the 7/8, or other stuff like 3/4? To me it looks like the makings of a polyrhythm. I don't understand what we don't just say beats per measure
Something like 3/4 or 7/8 shares with polyrhythms a syncopated feel or texture, but they’re not mechanically the same. My potentially-incorrect understanding is: the /4 in 3/4 and /8 in 7/8 (or 6/8) aren’t the precisely the length of the measure, but the length of the note that gets counted as one beat. So, if you’re playing a 3/4 piece at 75bpm, that’s seventy-five quarter notes a minute, while a 7/8 piece at 75bpm is seventy-five eighth notes a minute, with the “one” landing every seven beats for that cool, polyrhythm-y bounce.
Remember, if this is too fast for you, use the TH-cam video speed function to slow it down 🥰
Here I have the metronome set to 75bpm in 7/8
Thanks Amy, beautiful rhythem❤
So helpful your videos 💪🙏 thank you so much
Super tutorial! Thank you 🐸
Which metronome app are you using?
👀
It's a new one to me, called Camtronome. I really like it! Usually I use Pro Metronome but it doesn't seem available on the latest Android update
@@AmyNaylorMusic thank you💐
Hello. Is this stainless or nitrided steel? Greetings.
nitrided steel is always a bit darker, due the heat treatment. so this is stainless.
Thank you

Я хочу учится у тебя но, не научится очень долго...
Are you left handed by chance? My brain is only working the opposite way 😂
