- We gave the team at Big Bite Performance a surprise visit so that we could see their GT7 project with our own eyes. They are attempting to transplant a Golf 7 GTI into a Golf 1 GT, hence the name GT7.
This fabrication involved in this build, and the project management is world class for a detailing centre that doesn't specialize in builds.
The team need to be done with the project by the beginning of June 2024 before the GT7 gets shipped off to Durban for the GAS motorshow which is happening at the Sun Coast casino.

Are they going to use the MK7 door handles?🙆♀Yho imagine if it had the same MK7 badge with the rear view camera !
He plans to make the door handles and reverse camera work but the badge on the back is too big to fit on the bootlid, and doesn't really fit in with the final vision.

That was a Golf 5 not a Golf 7, Golf 5 still had manual handbrake.
As well as a S3 in a mk1
