Mary Beth, I envy your style so much! Don't know if I've ever seen you demo before...maybe iin Stencil Club. I can paint you a fabulous oil portrait, but when faced with too many choices:stencils, paint brands, colors, I freeze! Everyone just says to just do it, but I have come up with some real messes!
I think I'd take a hurricane over the terrorism going on in Paris any day :( I have family in Texas also, but far enough in from the coast that they only got moderate rains and not the disastrous stuff. Art does heal, but thinking that many of the artists in the line of the storm won't have much left in the way of art supplies. If you know of anyone that needs care packages filled with art supplies after all is said and done, maybe we could share our 'stuff' with them. I know I have way more than I need. I sent off care packages to a few people after a hurricane a few years ago. I don't recall who had organized the 'gifting' anymore, but someone had gotten together a list of names and addresses of people they knew that had lost everything they had. Needless to say, but art supplies aren't the first things people are going to be looking for replacements, but I do recall the wonder and appreciation from the people who did get the gifts. When you need to create, it really hurts when you can't do it. I'd be more then happy to help if you know of anyone in need :)
Excellent idea about sharing art supplies. And yes, I agree about the need to create and the hurt when you can't do it. We will keep our ears open for ways to help. Thank you for watching.
Oh, well I’m three years late for this one. Lol! But, if you get this,. I have a question. I love fabric too. What glue do you use with your fabric. ?? Thanks.
Where do I purchase a smudgie? I tried to make a comment on your FB page but it didn't give an option for a comment, just the like button. Glad I found your You Tube page! (and FB page now too!)
Hi Melissa! You will find the Smudgee here: www.stencilgirlproducts.com/stencil-supplies-s/1930.htm (Sorry - there was a space in the earlier link.) Happy stenciling!
Help... what is name of stencil used for this two page spread? The pattern of squares at the bottom corners both left and right? Not the small square/grid you used up top. The bottom larger squares were already done prior to live stream. I literally looked at EVERY stencil on your web page and can't find it. I have a cart full of stencils. I only wanted this unidentified mystery stencil... ha ha ha! Fabulous video, channel and love you Mary Beth!!!

Could you please name the color names of your paper artsy chalky acrylics. I loved the colors you used. And thank you!!! I have a tin full of inktense just waiting to be used. Fantastic use!! I love being in the stencil club. Y'all have brilliant stencils.... always inspired by them. Thanks for always sharing. Love watching!!! Regards from one of your fans in South Carolina , Lisa Walsh
Oh dear, I don't remember all that I used. I know Autumn Fire (the reddish one) and Concrete and Honeydew for lighter tones. I adore all their colors. Hope this helps.
Mary Beth, a ton of great tips in here as well as love seeing your journal pages, it’s like seeing finished abstract works on gallery walls! Beautiful! @anonymous.palette

We sell the Smudgees on StencilGirl Products. I sometimes see them other places, but we started to carry them because they are hard to find.
Hi! I’m new. I’m a new member and have my wine too!
Hahaha me too 🥰
TFS. I have learned so much already.
What kind of glue to you use to stick the fabric down on your journals? Love this!
Luci, I mix Elmer's glue with a little water and that is all I use.
Thanks so much!
