I just found this song and it really hit me at a weird time in my life. it's been almost 11 years since my soulmate got away from me.. She wasn't my first kiss. She didn't take my virginity. I dated girls before her and after her for longer but every night for over a decade I've dreamed of her. I don't get it. I never thought love like this could be real it should have faded by now.. and literally I have hard times holding relationships over a decade later because of her. I feel like I'm just settling if its anyone else and I don't want to do that to someone. And every night I dream of her. Spending Christmas together, or just sitting on the couch watching TV and its painful I wake up on the verge of tears and how are you supposed to explain that to someone your dating. I never got closure. I'd give the world just to let her know I love her.. but almost 11 years later she's getting married and something inside me finally got that closure I guess. She's happy she's having a great life chasing the dreams we talked about when we were young. And it's more than I could ever give her. I know that she's happy. And that's all I ever wanted.. I'd still give everything that I have left to see her smile at me one last time like we were in love. I haven't even seen her in 10 years and my heart still skips a beat when something reminds me of her. But it's weird because she moved away. But I could have swore I saw her. We were across from each other at an intersection in our old home town not far from where we grew up. NGL i cried about 5 minutes later. But like a few weeks later I had found out she was in town that week to visit her family. 99% sure we looked at each other at an intersection for about 5 seconds Now I find this song and it was a srs smack to the feels. Prob gonna go cry again lol.. and yes I'm aware that its probably not healthy to feel this way. I've tried therapy. And all the drugs you can think of, legal and illegal So far nothing xd at least I got good music to listen to..
