    i love how genuine this vlog is? not that your other vlogs aren't but the routine and typical day of eating talk just made it so refreshing and kind of made me exhale in relief.     Amanda, would you consider doing a video talking about your RD competence and knowledge before and after your Dietetic Internship?
    What I mean is comparing day 1 of the internship to the final day.
    What surprised you? What disappointed you? Do you feel it fully prepared you to be an entry-level RD once completed?

    I love you Amanda. I became sooo much closer to your channel when I lost my period and had to go through that whole hard journey. Honestly I was like you and used to run 10 miles every day and it took a while to replace the habit but now my life is back together and you were such an inspiration to me throughout the journey!! X

    This is my first video I’ve ever seen of yours and I freaking love you! I love how you eat REAL food. I’m tired of people eating two black beans and a couple strands of lettuce or a teaspoon of almond butter with half a fucking rice cake.

    I loooove this message of just listening to your body and eating what/when you want, it's something I've bee really working on too because I realized how much what I was eating and "craving" was actually based on what I thought I should eat and when. its all bullshittttt Today I woke up, wasn't hungry, got a little hungry and ate a carton of strawberries, and then around 12:30 had a chickpea salad sandwich and I feel really good. it should be this simple!

    i love what you said about not eating in "routine" i struggle a lot with anxiety and ocd which contributed to my eating disorder and routine gives me such a sense of control which feeds into my anxiety and ocd and ed but I'm slowly learning to let go of routine. its really refreshing and inspirational since watching your videos since day 1 and seeing your food freedom grow! much xo

    I enjoyed the rant. I think that is one of the problems with social media. We see someone eat something or learn about a nutrient we should be watching out for and suddenly we're hyper-focused on it. I'd like to go back to not worrying about every minute detail of my diet and lifestyle unless something is actually wrong!

    I am so excited I found your channel!! I’m pescatarian right now because I have a lot of health problems, but I try to eat mostly vegan and then add in some fish. I’m going to take a course online to become a nutrition consultant hopefully at the end of this year, so that I can grow my vegan gluten free blog. This was just the inspiration I needed to stay on course. I look forward to watching more of your videos!!!

      I’m a registered nurse and the money is not much different. Nursing is long hours and high stress, I love what I do so I can deal with it, but if you don’t love it than you will be miserable. Do what will make you happy, you are the one that has to show up each day.

    LOL just watched this video again, something i struggled with no with recovery is forgetting these dumb food rules that I've collected from ppl like is food combining a thing like ppl say not to eat fruit after cooked food or u shud only have fruit in the morning and i know all of it false and not true but i don't know how to overcome it its so sad that I've let diet culture made me so scared of fruit.

    Are you saying that people should eat whatever they want even if it's unhealthy or just that we should not put so much pressure on our self that we'll do better next time?
    Cause I started looking at your channel to be more healthy and it's kinda confusing to me earing a professional talk like that

    Honestly breakfast, lunch and dinner foods are so american, like I had no idea that this concept exists when I was a child, only until I started watching american television, it's spread more now, but still mostly in restaurants, at home nobody cares, at least my family never did.

    I don't want to be rude but I'm not sure you understand food addiction or the obesity epidemic we live in if you're telling people that if they want pancakes for dinner to just have pancakes for dinner. People eating what ever they want whenever they want has gotten them into awful health messes. Many people need more sensible guidance than you seem to give here. I reckon you were going for "intuitive eating" and what you said was more about you feeling okay with what you ate, but you are putting content out there for others, and perhaps more responsibility for your messages could be taken.I'm really not into putting people down online, I'm no troll, I just really felt I needed to point out that the language you use and the advice you give might have impacts that you didn't initially consider.

      ​@@greenlimabean & most of the people who watch my videos are part of the population that have been injured by the diet culture. i understand, but even the food addiction and obesity epidemic has been amplified by the fact that diet culture has people on binge/restrict habits, perpetuating the idea that our own bodies can't self- regulate and need to rely on external cues to be well. if you are keen to discuss this topic AND have read up on intuitive eating/anti-dieting, please sent me an email and we can exchange our contrasting views! i love having a well-rounded understanding of different opinions and this could really help me understand more about life :)
