Hunter This is not true. A cappella is without accompaniment, in the sense of nothing playing but the same melody as the vocal part. And there are many ways of spelling it, depending on where you're from.
alot of people overdub, but if they do, make sure they can back up the sound live, eg. The Offspring are great live, and they overdub but they still get a great sound vocally, live. thts why i dont like Fall Out Boy, well when they play live, at least, Patrick sucks ass live.
