I was in the 10th grade. History class. Our teacher was chill enough to let us listen to music while doing our study guides. And I discovered this mix. It introduced me to dubstep. Now I’m 25 wishing I could go back to those simpler times. How I was so ignorant. But ignorance is bliss.
Had you not grow up this mix would not be as valuable to you. I tend to think these things become more powerful in time. After all, when we first listened to this it must have been dope but nothing more. Now its dope and nostalgic, something about that is more beautiful to me. I'm 23 now and found this in 2012. Just to provide some context.

Im glad im not the only one that remembers this. I remember blasting this at night to drown out my daily life of middle and then high school. Id moved on to other things since then but coming back to this... it reminds me of my old house, nights with the AC cranked up and me under a blanket falling asleep to this during a CoD BO2 or a BF3 match. Those were new games back then. I miss every bit of it.
