normally i always watch explanatory videos in my native language. i came across this video by aciident and find it easy to understand despite the language barrier. maybe i will watch more english videos in the future if it is explained so simply. :)
Hello Iris, I don't know if you'll be able to see this, but the video seems pretty recent so I'll give it a try.. you use U = m / 2 sqrt (p1*p2) in order to find original utility. What's the original function for it in general? also, is it possible to use that formula in questions that are not Cobb-Douglas?
Hi. Franz, thank you so much for such a great and helpful videos in your TH-cam chanel. Can you please publish more videos about Vairans chapter. For example from chapter 19, simply about producer theory, and thanks a lot☺️
@@dhaneshamirpuri7059 No, sorry. Many professors assign graded homework and I don't want to compromise academic integrity. When in doubt, ask the professor for a hint. They will be happy to help! Best luck.
This is the best description of the CV and EV concepts that I've seen so far on the web. Distinguishing the periods is the key. Thank you, Iris.
Thank you so much, you have no idea how much this is helping me. God bless you.👏

This is a specific example from Varian Chapter 14, so you cannot use this formula on just any utility function.
