    Hi sir
    I understand that you don’t give out info about where you fish
    But I would really like to know where this is? As a new fisherman I want to find a place that is safe

      Unfortunately I don't give out the location of the fishing spots out of respect for the other anglers who fish there. I recommend that you ask at your local fishing tackle shop. They will be able to tell you where there are safe fishing spots in your area. Thanks for the comment and if you haven't yet feel free to subscribe so that you don't miss out on more videos. 😀

    Thanks for your video, what set up are using? Can I spin there with a 10 foot grinder set up?

      You can certainly use a 10 foot grinder setup as long as its a spinning set up. 30lb braid works well to get better distance with your cast. Nice to see another comment from you. I am glad you are enjoying the videos....😀

    Wow that water is super clear!!! Have you ever caught a bird with a lure like that? I've never fished in or around the Cape, only ever along the north coast, moz and Namibia. Would love to give the cape a go. Aah bummer about the knot snapping, but luckily there is always a next time. Awesome video bud.

      Ya the water is amazing here. I have had birds come down and hit the lure...stay tuned for the video....😂😂😂 Fishing in this part of the Cape is certainly tough....I have a cool video about fishing in Kosi Bay that is worth checking out...😀

      It all depends if you are planning on spinning or using bait and what species you would like to target. Let me know and I will give my recommendations.....😀

    Not sure if I should laugh or cry when I see vids like this......Either this spot is going to be swamped with anglers or people will see how many hours you actually need to put in to even see a shoal of yellowtail. Sadly social media has fucked up many a good fishing spot that is easily identifiable. It will be a complete Clusterf*ck if you reveal any spots that cant handle any crowds. Hopefully you wont regret these posts but I doubt the regulars will be giving you any intel when they next see you next time at the tracks.

      Thanks for the comment. Certainly all things I have considered before starting these vids. I am certainly expecting a lack of intel and I certainly won't be giving away certain spots.....I know where you mean.... Feel free to sub if you want to check the rest of the vids out....

    You seem to make a point of exposing the spots that should not be publicized. Please rethink your strategy. Many of us have fished these places for decades and along you come and disregard and disrespect the locals.. Nice vids and info but you have to be aware of the impact.

    • @AlfiesFishingAdventures
      @AlfiesFishingAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Noted. Fully understandable. I will certainly rethink my strategy and stick to private waters. I did try not to include where I was fishing for that reason as I presumed that if you not from here you won't know where it is and if you are from here you already know where it is before these videos came out. But thanks for making me aware of this. Certainly not my intention to step on any toes. My apologies.

      @@AlfiesFishingAdventures no bad vibes. Appreciate the fact that you do see where some of us are coming from. Unfortunately certain spots end up being overrun or worse they attract the wrong kind of angler because they are fairly accessible and then it ends up in dead fish or litter or worse. Thanks again for being understanding and keep up the vids but do try not to mention spots if it can be avoided.
