The fact that the Catornados actively caused the Puffingtons to be knocked back three times (2 of them crits) in a row before being hit proves how fast they attack.

@Xskull & Dr. Skull you didn't mention Space Cat's barrier breaker ability. In my opinion 50% chance is decent, but he gets easily outclassed by fencer or pixies, which have guaranteed chance. He is useful on 4 crown stages with UltraBaaBaa/Youcan, but I feel like Lil Macho performs better. You can also use Breakerblast cannon. Edit: Just got Jizo. Love the egg boi (and being sad, because he isn't as good as he was).

Since you can unlock Mecha Bun Bun after Beating eldritch Forces, PONOS should make an event that gives a cyclone unit. I think it would be super cool.
I want to give a small bit of praise to Space cat for helping me in Cats of the Cosmos while playing blind. You barely ever find stages where you need both barrier breaker and crits, especially both from the same unit, but since my favorite strat for CotC is stacking strong up cat combos to win with Catellite spam, the slot compression of an anti-metal and anti-barrier cat is really nice, especially since you usually need either hard counters or specific cat cannons for those threats(and sometimes(often) the cat cannon alone just isn't enough)
The ranking likely was based on late game, space cat may not be as strong as some expect, but he is my only one who can break barriers in cotC right now beside the cannon breaker, and in some levels where u get ultrabaabaa and starred guri early so that the cannon is not charged, 1st level in ch2, you have to use space cat.

Rope jump cat is really good for spammable fast attack rate good hp and early game. for modern cat also really op for protect attacker. Overall 2 units is my favourite anti metal unit even also a meatsheild .
Nah I don’t think so, outside of surge enemies he’s a pretty standard 75 meatshield - I think dark lazer should get 1st because of its ridiculous dps and the wave proc. I’m not skull though so whatever he says I guess

The first cyclone I bet was metal cyclone. I got insanely lucky at the start of the game and rolled Tecoluga as my first Uber. after clearing eoc2 I went to metal cyclone and after about 5 try’s I was lucky enough o beta it because of Tesalans ability to Crit
Space Cat had some redeeming quality on "The Proving Ground" (Catseyes stage). on last round dusk : you'll find Sir Metal Seal (weak against ranged critter). Also some elite alien enemies (barrier). I am agreed with these ranking tho. If we talk about anti-metal unit, Space cat is so mediocre. And if we talk about cyclone unit, Xskull reasons are perfectly fair. (except that one thing he mentiong "Bruh" on anti Black unit)

Thank you so much for displaying level 50 stats instead of level 30. I'm deep into 3star UL stages and with these enemies, most level 30 cats (even level 40 cats) are as useless as level 1 cats. Maybe a skill issue, but helpful regardless.
For me mochi cat is the worst.Why?Because weaking is one of the worst debuffs in game.Especialy with metal enemies.Why do you need to weak them if you can kill it with a crit? Catarnado or catasuarus are one of the best criters in the game.If you dont have them just use moneko. Thats my opinion

If you just started the game I recommend rolling Dark Heroes. It’s a mix of good generalists and good anti aliens.
