I have been testing out this exact chair as well and can say i am in agreement with the points mentioned, and as far as lumbar support goes, this is without doubt the most supportive chair i have ever used
I've been using the Herman Miller Embody for over 6 months now and, while it's not cushy, it does provide the support that I need to work at my desk comfortably for long hours. Finding the right chair for you is difficult, but also very important.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Have you considered trying out the Haworth Fern? I watched a bunch of reviews on it, and it seems very popular. It was my second choice after the Embody.
Just got this to replace my old SecretLab. Thunderx3 wins. For the price it is way better value for the back support you get. The arm rests are so so comfortable. The material and build quality is on par with SecretLab. Overall a better chair for the money you're paying.
@@mrkimolsson Oof... I imagine you get that far more often. I hear that a lot from others too, and honestly, in 2024 it's pretty surprising that it's still as prevalent as it is. That's such a pain. :/
I got this chair a couple of months ago and I've got to say the lumbar support was a complete game changer for me. I've never experienced something like it. I'd like to comment on the squeaking though! I opted for the grey fabric version which has no squeak! But have noticed in other peoples reviews that bought the pu leather version that it was squeaking for them so I am guessing it's maybe because of the material? Maybe something for people to consider when buying this chair.
It definitely sounds like the PU leather rubbing. It's crazy how things like this get overlooked, especially as the lumbar mechanism is supposed to move constantly...
Which makes it pointless as everyone is completely different in terms of body size/shape/height etc. It's like the Razer Ishkur ie completely OTT/absurd lumbar pad. I bought this chair 'blind' and have been regretting it ever since. @@TheProvokedPrawn
I've tried this chair as well and the lumbar support is just too aggressive. I found that I had to slouch to try and avoid the non-movable lumbar section which just isn't good for your back in the long term. People are far better off buying a proper ergonomic office chair. @gavlatennis2824
Top tip: GT Omega have recently started selling a head cushion which should really suit headphones users. The cushion supplied with the core will constantly bump headphones with 50mm drivers.
Just got this chair yesterday and I must say that I really like the back support and it's innovative BUT the chair itself is wobbly and makes sounds. Like you can feel small bumps when moving front and back and just the usual usage. I don't even know how to explain it.
I have a question about the lumbar support. How is it attached to the chair? I had a chair with a very similar lumbar support but it had a fatal flaw. It attached to the chair by sliding UP into a bracket on the chair back. Unfortunately, this led to the lumbar support sliding back down and falling out if you moved around enough. If they had flipped that bracket where it slid DOWN into the chair it would have been amazing.
This or the Razer iskur v2, razer enki or enki pro? Chair wouldnt get much use, just want something thats comfortable on my cheeks but still offers decent back support.
I am and I still like it. Though the squeak is driving me nuts as it gets picked up by my mic a lot and I'm worried people will think I'm farting. But that's ok, because they I just do my voice overs standing up which is better for me anyway haha
Yep, after 3 years (if the chair doesn't fail) it will look a mess, unless you only wear silk PJ's on it. I cannot comment on this chair, but in my experience it is a bad choice for longevity.

Does yours squeak too?
@@TheProvokedPrawnyes it does a little, I thought it was where the back was rubbing on the Kallax units behind me
one comment for your outstanding audio quality. Love the clear and direkt sound of your voice.

Nice. Glad you're enjoying it. I'm planning on selling mine to see if I can recoup some of the losses.

Love the demonstration and your covering all the parts and features😃

I was actually just about to buy one of these when I found out that they sell to pretty much everyone except for the US. hahah
Sorry to hear it
For me it´s normally the otherway around. I get recommendations and links only to find out they don´t sell it outside of the US.

The lumbar on this is soooo uncomfortable as it doesn't adjust.
it moves as you do though? But yes, it doesn't adjust in or out. So I suppose it depends on your body shape and height.

Green jack?

Should I get this chair or the SecretLabs Titan Evo?
Is the seat and lumbar firm? Had a secretlab evo and Razer enki and both where to firm for me.
How tall are you? Is it comfortable to sit in the chair if you are 168cm tall?
175cm so should be

it is on a massive spring and the whole thing moves to contour your back without needing any adjustment

I've only tried one of the Razer chasers and it's decent but I prefer this.
Even better than razer iskur v2?
Are you still using this chair, and if so how has it held up?

How'd you know that I was was watching chair reviews lately
I know things!
Never buy plastic leather. It's cracks easily and starts looking very tatty very quickly. Not a very breathable material either.
