I think if you flip it around it would work even better gameplay wise - Only players that are standing still can see. As soon as you move, you can no longer see.

I swear the Hypnotist NEVER goes well. Like, they always miss a critical shot and get called out by the person they're killing, whereas when they're a normal traitor they'll just 1 shot everyone no problem lol
I though of an item for the traitors. the horcrux. the traitor looses half their health and the item has to be destructible. if the traitor dies they turn into the prop for 30 seconds like they're possessing someone, then they turn back into them self with 10hp. or some shit like that.

I've mastered the ability of standing so incredibly still… That I become invisible to the eye.
I like the idea but I feel like the other way around is a bit more balanced. That you get an outline if u stand still for to long
