Especially when Carrie said she wanted to see the boots and got that laugh, she realized what the joke meant. And I like how Matthew got her out of that situation, and he really didn't have to do that. He brought a pair of boots to give to Carrie at the next year's ACM.
The Academy of Country Music Awards sucks. The Country Music Association awards are better. the reason why I think the academy sucks is because all they do is give out too many useless awards like new male vocalist, new female vocalist and new vocal Duo group along with milestone awards and Artist of the Decade. For me what makes an award show good as when you do not have a lot of categories. that's why I think the association is better than the academy because they don't have they don't give out useless Awards, the academy does that. Besides the purpose of the Country Music Association (Nashville 1958) is to promote the genre of country music. The purpose of the Academy of Country Music (Los Angeles1958) is to promote country music in the 13 states west of Texas Oklahoma Kansas Nebraska and The Dakotas, since their 50th award show was held in Texas. I'm aware that the ACM was the first to have a country music award show so if you like country music like me I say ditch the academy and support the association. Plus when you think about it the academy selects people that the fans would select.
