@@Wrobbers0317 i mean if you played ac 4 they explain it very well, eagle vision is not a power, but a technic that uses all of your senses from sound touch smell etc to know there sorroundings.
It makes sense and it might be possible since humans often uses from 2 to 3 senses daily in the same time, so it wouldn't be impossible to use all, and there is a research that says "Our five senses-sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell-seem to operate independently, as five distinct modes of perceiving the world. In reality, however, they collaborate closely to enable the mind to better understand its surroundings. We can become aware of this collaboration under special circumstances."
And the reason why every assassin from Altair, ezio, and etc to have different types and looks/colors from using the eagle vision is in my opinion is because (1: types are different because of the character's age, some characters sense far enemies and some sense only the close). 2: looks/colors look different depends on the character's if it was a color blind or the color that this character sees, I mean if I was thinking of an enemy color, I would think of a crimson red, some will think of a shining red, and others will make them golden color or yellow, or let's say for allies or ppl who are close to us, we think of them in like blue color or shining white color it depends on the person and how he sees it or how he sees the colors of those ppl

@juicylemon2018The game looks like garbage. Quit excusing this crap.
@juicylemon2018the developers themselves said that Basim is so fast that the Animus can't keep up with his actions. Should I say it's bullshit? And Ezio didn't create clones of himself. The Apple of Eden doesn't create anything in reality, only in people's minds. In other words, it was an illusion, not a "magical spear".
@juicylemon2018you got it exactly! The Apple is a powerful artifact left by people who came before us with technology so advanced we simply cannot fathom how a lot of it works because we are not at that point yet technologically it would seem to us like magic. On the other hand the animus is made by us with technology we currently have and understand. It is used to to see into the past (at things that already happened) and relive our ancestors memories for ourselves. So you are telling me the explanation is that Basim is just so damn fast we in the future cannot see him make movements he already had made in the past 😂😂😂

@@kenni3313 those abilities are all connected to the isu artifacts and connor turning into an animal is part of a non cannon dlc. either way, you totally missed the point. it's not about realism as in "how close is this to real life" it's about the established world and gameplay. this kind of multi takedown could have easily been implemented like it was in batman arkham knight. what batman does there is hella unrealistic, but it's totally in line with the established fighting mechanics and batmans abilites IN THAT WORLD.
what makes it jarring is that it's a new game mechanic that is totally removed from any previously established abilities, which if this was a follow up to the rpg games in odyssey and valhalla, would be not much of an issue. but if you heavily advertise the game as going back to the more grounded, simple assassins creed games of old (even going so far as to include a nostalgia filter) then you can't introduce a mechanic like this.
on top of that, it's just really lazily done. if it looked really cool and like something you could imagine these fictional assassins could pull off, people would have reacted differently.
I don't want to be that guy but the game is a simulation, do u freak out when the animus glitches? When u get pulled from the world? When some random person checking your vitals talks to you while you are in the simulation?

I only said that the Assassin's Creed Revelations would be boring if Ezio had something like controlling someone's mind in the middle of the game. That thing is a literal hack. This mechanic though, will take fun out of the game by breaking the immersion. We are supposed to play as an Assassin that uses stealth or his combat abilities to kill his/her targets in the past. Giving him a technique that literally looks like him teleporting would completely make him OOC and makes him an Assassin with superpowers. I would be fine with it if it looked like he was running though.

Honestly if they were going to add this, I wish instead of teleporting, you get closer to the first person you targeted and then have the option to trigger "chain assassination". It would do the same thing here, but instead of teleporting, everything slows down and you'd just run from enemy to enemy. And the reason why this would happen is that Basim is a fast and agile person.

he's not teleporting he's just moving so fast that the animus cant keep up with him
I love the idea that a guy in white robes could dangle off a rope 10ft infront of 3 guards and not be seen
"Going back to its roots"
Well, if you look it directly then yea, it is not like AC 1 or the Ezio trilogy, but is quite similar to the AC Unity disguise also you can look it in two ways, firstly we need to understand that Assassin's Creed is not a realistic game, only based on reality because you are in a simulation, a computer generating movie more or less where you feel and relive the lives of your ancestors. This teleportation is what we see because maybe the animus can not process the speed that Basim has when he concentrates, or it could be that this is how he sees himself, he is full of adrenaline and bursts into action not thinking in between the moves only who is he killing and how he is killing.

The most legit explanation: It's Basically an Animus Programm, that skips 10-15 seconds for the Character who re-synchronizes basim's memories.

The Dishonored fan in me loves this visually and loves the concept of it, but both the Dishonored fan and AC fan hate this from a gameplay standpoint.
The appeal of these abilities in Dishonored is chaining them together manually and alongside other powers. This just looks like Blink with zero tension or skill requirement. Just enter this assassination mode, press a few buttons, and sit back and watch the game play itself for 10 seconds. I see no appeal to using this. If it’s mandatory at any point in the game that’s gonna be a huge problem. I don’t suspect it will be mandatory but the fact that they make a big deal out of it being the big new AC feature worries me.
"We're going back to the roots"
*makes bro a phantom*
I don’t care what the in game animus explanation is. It’s a stupid gimmicky mechanic that shouldn’t be in an assassins creed game. “You don’t have to use it” true. But I bet they designed the enemy placement and map layouts for the specific use of this ability so it will be hard to play the game stealthily without using it. I’m guessing whoever’s idea this was didn’t want to be making an assassins creed game.
Agreed
Even in the trailer, that map looks like it was made for that ability
Bruh I wished it would've been something like multi-fear takedown in Arkham Knight where you actually see Batman moving really fast to take-out his enemies and not teleporting
yep. this is just lazy
I assumed it can only be used if its possible to assassinate them in the first place. Like that first one dropped from the roof, just saves the walking around.
And besides, its called mirage, that ability is the namesake haha
