Yet again another informative, to the point video! Wonderful job sir. Cheers from Fort Rucker!

Excellent. Good common sense advice. I have never used them because I'm British and it's not something we really do but giving to leg pressure is absolutely good sense and would see you through many tricky situations. I am going to get some and condition my horse (who stands for everything but it's always good to add a new skill especially if it's something that helps the horse not to panic although panic is something not really in my laid back boy's repertoire). He wasn't afraid your horse but you could see him thinking don't leave me here with no grass or anything! He is lovely by the way.

Yes sir I would like to know, if your horse new to the hobble and the horse get spooked and wild and flops to the ground. Is it a time that they calm down and will this stop them from pawing as well?

Do you have the contact info of the person who made the hobbles for you?

Can you elaborate on that? Is there a reason why not? Dangerous, not needed, doesn't work?

You don't boat without an anchor: you don't sail a ship on open seas without a sea anchor: don't ride a horse cross country without hobbles.

Hobbling a horse is not good when it is in a paddock
