It was so Kowl that I was searching in your channel to find another tutorial (yes 4 years after this video !) pls make another one you're just genious !!
f'in amazing. didn't know the alphabet or my keyboard could be SOOOO POWERFUL with midi and music creation. thank *YOU* to infinity. this seems addicting. will buy it for sure. just learning for now thanks to you and others.
the only questions that i still have about the Orca is: how can i open old "patches" i made and saved??? i've tried tons of methods but still can't figure it out!!
Am I right to assume there is no way in Orca to do phase offset, micro timing or other "advanced" features often found in conventional sequencers in Eurorack or VCV?
ya pretty much, there are some tricks to getting it to feel like those features exist. Writing a 110bpm arrangement, do it at 220 - this lets you do more of a micro timing feel.
How far can you extend the tracker downwards? Can you make the value of a variable greater than 'z'? (I'm thinking if you wanted to build a whole song using a tracker)
Great question, no the variables end at z. But you have discovered a new puzzle to be solved. You could use "inject" at the end of your sequence and it would replace your sequence with a different one. Join the discord and see if either I or other ORCA users can help you solve this.
Thanks for making these (pt.1 and 2)! Very informative. You go to 16 steps with G. If I were to use Z, I would go to 35 steps (?). But what if I want to use 64 steps? Is that even possible?

I do wonder if it would also be possible to make the track go up instead of the curser going down.
I’m an ORCA beginner in China.I want to know how to set the UDP or OSC.
hi, 用";"发送UDP消息. 用"="发送OSC消息, 更详细的可以看这边github.com/hundredrabbits/Orca 以及一个提到配合Pilot的设置帖子(更推荐) llllllll.co/t/orca-livecoding-tool/17689/858 , 最后我个人希望有一天能看到中文教程, 同样是beginner.
Fantastic, thanks! How do you use L:s and K:s?
And how would you make a song structure? Cheers
