I was wondering about color… Glad they thought of trying to match the case. Interesting idea.
Artist here. Seems to a good setup would be an actual strong but light ipad pro standable that would also allow for attachement on the side or top for an iphone. I would display on the iphone screen a photo from which I am working and then draw/paint on my ipad. Drawing programs have the ability to use on-screen reference photos but that takes up a lot of real estate on an already very small screen.

I saw this and thought it was one of those screen extenders, but this is way better! It is simple, and the magnetic feature makes this fun and functional. Because where you have the magnets, would this work with the iPad mini in your current configuration? Great video, as always. I love when you show off new gadgets to add to a desk setup, and the price is something that I thought would be a little higher than what it is. 😂🐬

I would worry about strain on the lid putting the weight of the iPad on it.
Interested in this , but it seems like charging the iPad while it is attached would be a problem. Maybe an angled USB-C cable might work? Or if you close it in at an angle the charging port would be accessible ? How do you go about charging your iPad while it's attached?

I use Satechi's case for the MacBook, do you think the case would interfere with the adhesive? I like using my iPhone as a webcam but most (if not all) of the stands that attach to the top of the MacBook are too thin due to the case adding a tiny bit of thickness.

Don't the magnetic plates on the ipad get in the way of using a folio case? What do you use instead of that when you're taking the ipad out and about, without your laptop?

Hey guys, thanks for your question.
If you want to place the disk in between the magic keyboard and your iPad the keyboard should fit. However, we have never tested it since all the EDGE Pro accessories are designed to stay on the outermost layer of tech devices. What we can safely say is that the disk is 0.4mm thick therefore it should not affect the magnetic attraction between the keyboard and iPad itself, also because it is made of steel (magnetic metal).
I can confirm that that magnets do not interfere with Magic keyboard!

Sure, magnets are cool but I'd rather go with a Moft folio case that turns into a stand on its own and lifts the iPad up for better ergonomics. Simple and effective
To be honest, if the weight of the iPad is supported by the table, you might as well just put a water bottle behind the iPad fo the same position.

I recently used these. Two of them. Within a few days, using two magnets with an iPad Mini 6 and they fell off… removing the remaining attachments from the lid proved hard work and had to be cleaned due to residue 😞
Yeah sounds like a waste of $200. They literally could’ve created a case or lid cover with the same capabilities
How did they fall off? Did you clean it before you stuck them on?
I followed all instructions and yes, i made sure the lid was prepared first.
@PokeDKShow I have a dry cloth especially to clean the screen and outer body of the Macbook, so I used that.
