Many years ago i sent Joe an email asking questions about rotary vs coil when he first started using rotarys more. I was amazed when I got a long email back from him. Unreal to me that this huge name in the industry was cool enough to write such a detailed response to some random guy he had never met. Thank you Joe for being so awesome !

Ah that was refreshing... and validating for my experiences nowadays.. Joe is a quality human, inspirational artist & always straight up! I met him once in London - 2012 - was fortunate enough to have a good conversation him that has stuck with me ever since. Thank you Joe for what you've given to tattooing!
That is the best thing I’ve seen! I got to meet Joe along time ago at Hell City and he was a great down to earth dude. It was awesome watching him work. He’s a fuckin legend! I’ve been wanting to get tattooed by him since I started in the tattoo industry. Now to hear him tell it like it is, and how these corporations social media has sucked the heart and soul out of this industry. I admire and respect him even more!!! Don’t get me wrong some aspects of how tattooing has evolved are great but it’s a very few. Keep killing it Joe!!!! Thanks to that Tattoo show for sharing this interview.

Absolutely awesome show guys, love joe and his way of thinking and working. Was over the moon when i got to meet him myself and chat for a bit true legend in the industry also he had a class whisky club during covid over on of the social sites which was fun where it wasn't a lot of whisky but just shooting shit for a bit. Great show guys as always 👏 👍
That was a great interview and I can’t agree more with what Joe said. Man I miss the old times, change is good but not all change is for the better. When I started apprenticing/tattooing back in 2002/2003 I was/am a huuuge Capobianco and Litwalk fan, among others of course. They really helped inspired me and my art got better because of ya’ll, Thanks!
