    The reason to cover the statue with mortar is that mortar is MORE solid than sedimentary stone that is molecularly bound together with much weaker chemical bonds. Mortar can be as durable as Roman hydraulic cement concrete but sandstone/ limestone cannot be highly durable unless subjected to intense geological pressure to compact its molecules.
    It's not a case of the mortar being weaker than the bedrock but of the bedrock itself being so weak that it disintegrated below the mortar and then the mortar lost the solid surface that it was bonded to. So they fell of together; the surface mortar and the inner loose sedimentary layer.

    It's intriguing to see similar stone marks on this site yet again. Your repurposing theory seems plausible, I am puzzled to find out what could have been the original design. Great job, thanks for sharing!

      I wonder if the Sphinx and the Khafre Pyramid actually have a designated relationship or not. The pathway between the Sphinx and Khafre is not aligned and actually crooked.

      Agree. The sphinx head is way too small for the body and so many "intelligent" archeologists believe it was originally carved as one of the pharaohs. Ridiculous!

    This is the best channel I have come across for challenging the status quo theories on ancient origins, most of which are nonsense when you look closely into them. It's obvious that the head of the Giant Buddha was a restoration project, not an original carving. I had a theory that the original carving was the face of a man (possibly Aryan-looking like the Priest King of the Indus Valley) from the earlier civilization (as evidenced, as you mention), and was transformed into the ancient Chinese face it now shows. You are probably right in that it was just a quarry block, not a face. But when we see the face of the Sumerian reliefs, somewhat alien in appearance, but somewhat reflective (downward nose) of the Semite people of that region; coupled with the fact of the up-turned noses smashed off most of the ancient Greek (or Atlantean era?) statues, we must understand that there was an effort (typically done haphazardly with likely bad, vengeful purpose) to deceive people as to who came first, i.e., ancient political thuggery.

    I think your idea is spot on. Is there any megalithic block walls nearby that the quarried stone was used in? Not that being close has anything to do with it as other sites can be hundreds of miles from the quarry, but usually thats for the specific stone. Sandstone, although this is tough sandstone, can be found nearly anywhere.

      We have lost a lot more then some history. Life on earth is cyclical, many ancient civilisations knew that. Every so often almost all life on earth is wiped out and with earth cataclysm our level of technology decreases… I mean think bout it, let’s say there are 1million engineers worldwide and 90% of them are wiped out from the cataclysm, those remaining 10% don’t know every aspect of their craft, they teach what they can and so on each time losing knowledge and ability. Like language n religion, so many ancient myth stories are shared, it’s obvious there was a global civilisation/civilisations (possibly a different race of hominids- Denisovans?… Neanderthal smarter then we thought?) and when the cataclysm stuck they were separated and tried teaching their knowledge to those Homo sapiens that survived in that area… they interbred possibly creating some bizarre offspring due to inter species mingling…. This master species I believe could have built the polygonal megalith stonework worldwide, the ancient mysteries of Egypt like the Sphinx n great pyramid, the caves in China, this Buddha… I think these beings were seen as gods by early Homo sapiens and the stories of nephalim can be explained this way… recent evidence showing that Denisovans were giants, possibly the red haired, double rowed teeth, six fingered beings that have been found worldwide and hidden from society…. We will never know though. Truths about our past are kryptonite to monotheistic religions especially the Abrahamic ones… also I think governments have found ancient tech that they have kept to themselves…. Everyone says aliens aliens… but I think the megaliths n stuff on this earth were built by earth dwelling beings…. I just think most if not all major anomalies were built by someone else, possibly Denisovans…

      @@ibanborak ,sorry friend, but Life is always NEW, never been old before..:-)
      About the possible civilizations, you are very likely right about it, and it does not have to be our race of Humans development either.
      We have been teached in our society, to separate and make contrasts, which is a brainy thing..
      But The Life does not do such an unfortunate side step, it all part of the whole.:-)
      The 'caracas' people, were every where on this Earth, much to far from each other then scientists idea, which brings forth a deafening silence..
      Separating Human development from the 'caracas' development, is a major mistake, but we hopefully get there anyway.:-)

    I think you're right, the head may have been repurposed. Kinda like the sphinx. The area below the neck also seems to have been removed. It may have been jewelry which was removed because they changed it into a Buddha.

  • @StarCannibal
    @StarCannibal 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I suspect the statue was reworked from an earlier existing statue and hence the head is out of proportion and style in a similar way as the head of the Sphinx in Egypt. The head of the Sphinx is clearly reworked to represent a pharaoh by the Egyptians as everything points to the Sphinx existing long before the dynastix Egyptians.
    The evidence you have shown around the Buddha leads me to believe that this was originally a huge megalithic statue in the past that was re-carved into a Buddha.

    • @darrensanimalsvideos
      @darrensanimalsvideos 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I was thinking the same. Like the half finished obelisks and stones in quarries, I think the cataclysm (I'm thinking flood from some source(s) as there's nearly always a layer of sand or soil or silt on everything and nearly no rubble like it's been washed away by a wave then the back wave deposited the sand, silt soil) and this statue was half finished when it hit.

      I agree with this, too - but, bearing in mind that water levels were much lower prior to the great flood, if either a statue or the space in which the current Buddha statue is located existed then, it is difficult to see why it would be put here, though this can be said about many megalithic structures around the world! Another interesting point is that some of the spaces and structures seem designed for smaller people but this statue and its mega-niche location just seems outsized for people of our size or smaller. However, regardless of the height of the humans that originally created this space, when and what for, such structures suggest highly developed methods. Perhaps it also means that there is a difference in scale and methods between pre-megalthic peoole (who may have built the original structure) and megalithic people, who made the smaller tunnels and rooms, with some kind of high-tech mining/tunnelling technology?

    "hydraulic drum cutter", aka "transverse rotary excavator".
    the thing is, they're necessarily big, to provide enough power to keep the wheel constantly turning.. some of the places creatd with these marks are very small, almost like a handheld-sized power tool was used.. are there any artifacts that could be associated with such a machine? something like those weird 'bowls' (disk of sabu) found in egypt for example, but stronger metal of course

  • @mossig
    @mossig ปีที่แล้ว

    In tunnels I would use a water hydraulic system to make those marks. As long as you have something heavy like a roof, floor or wall to support the piston against. All you need is a barrel of water, a round stone in the barrel with a hook and rope threw a hole in the top of the barrel and bamboo pipes from the bottom of the barrel to the excavation tool. An Elephant, to do the lifting and a butterfly valve to release pressure when necessary.

Look at the back wall that is the legs and notice what you see that shouldn't be there. Is it "restoration" like the blocks added to the body of the Sphinx or is it original construction? If it is original then the whole statue is a fake. I'll try to find some actual photos to examine instead of just lower-res screen shots.

      Praveen mohan found hindu statues such as shiva biravana hanuman and such located in columbia dated to at least 3000 bc (official dating) according to what he was saying he was attributing these things to the cham peoples or perhaps a pre cham culture. Modern historians put a much later date to the cham but who knows.
      This mystery culture spread from South India through all of South East Asia Indonesia Polynesia and on to South America. They made it to South America by at least 3000bc so I would not be surprised to find the dating of sites across alot of these places to be pre 3000bc or even alot older with certain sites going back to pre 10000 bc such a gunang padang. Which goes back at least 20 thousand years or even more.
      The simple fact is you can't trust modern dating. Very few archaeologists would dare go against the pre determined narrative. As if they did their careers would end instantly.
      Just take gunang padang for example after core drilling samples give out dates of over 20,000 years mainstream archaeologists instantly went to the government trying to shut the work down an cover it all up.

    those carving marks are common from hand chiseling. we know it's from hand carving. also why would ancient people cut random giant blocks out of this originally? that makes no sense

    • @CuriousBeingbyTina

      Hand chiseling ca't explain the uniformed curvature of these tool marks. I made a video explaining my research on such markings in detail (if you are interested to check it out and critique, here is the link: th-cam.com/video/4iZTr_ZJA5g/w-d-xo.html) Also, in the Leshan Part 2 video (th-cam.com/video/nCC7DRz72cs/w-d-xo.html), I showed photos of a tunnel with rows of tool marks which are pretty obvious signs of machining.

      @@CuriousBeingbyTina yes it can. There are many places where hand chiseling was done where it's the exact same. As you chisel down your arm swings so it curves closer to you. Then you do the same a couple inches over. It's a very standard process.

    80 years to complete? Mmmm i find that doubtful. If the workers had a plan to go to I`d say a decade is nearer the mark, to say nothing of sustaining such an effort for three generations which suggests a stagnant rather than vibrant culture. The only constant is change. Im constantly amazed at how modern scientists underestimate the capacity of workers (especially those working wit the lure of a cash completion bonus. lol). Let me give one example of which i`m sure.
    Silbury hill is a prehistoric artificial chalk mound near Avebury in the English county of Wiltshire and the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe. It is about 40 metres in height and, "Archaeologists calculate that it took 18 million man-hours, equivalent to 500 men working for 15 yearsto deposit and shape 248,000 cubic metres (324,000 cu yd) of earth and fill." In the visitor centre it says it took about 100 years to complete.
    Those figures are wrong. Let me explain and show the maths. A working guide for groundworkers before mechanical diggers used to be this. An average man was expected to be able to dig a "Shovel`s depth by a shovels width" during the course of a working day. A shovel is about four feet long, but lets round that down to three feet and and call it a cubic yard for arguements sake. That assumes average soil as well, From personal experience i can tell you that in chalky flinty ground it will be a long hard day and you`ll also need a pick. In resonable rich earth or clay you`ll have that hole dug well before the afternoon and be on the way to the pub. In easy, loamy soil you`ll be finished by mid day. if it rains regardless of soil its going to be much harder work. But regardless of soil any worker worth their salt will dig a cubic yard in a day, with relative ease. (NB anyone who thinks digging is easy and a shovel is not a skilled tool doesn`t know what they are on about).
    To use the figures above and assume each man can dig a cubic yard of earth per day per man. Silbury hill is made up of 324,000 cubic yards of earth. 324,000 divided by the proposed work force of 500 is 648 cubic yards per man or 648 working days. Lets assume each man worked for 300 days a year. That`s about 2 years and two months work to excavate the materials. Now add a full working day to move the spoil to the needed location and another to pack it down and shape it.(and that`s being generous moving it would be much less time consuming). Call it seven years and that will easily be enough time to do the work and that includes factoring in aspects like weather and other eventualities to complete the project for a work force of 500. Eyeballing it and extrapolating the work using working culture circa about 1970-1990 i`d say four to five years would be far more resonable. .
