    It's a nice looking phone, it would be better if it had Snapdragon 730 though. Poco F2 Pro cost $500 with Snapdragon 865

    The back of the phone looks so good and crisp. IMO it would've been a better looking screen if they did a punch hole camera in the center top of the screen

    Pretty sure you could buy a P30 Pro now for about this price 🤔 mine still runs like an absolute champ and the cameras are still right up there (for images at least)

    Actually TCL phones have been around but they were mostly being sold on the prepaid carriers that were run by Tracfone They actually took part or all of Alcatel's brand as the TCL lx which was the first one had an Alcatel AC Adaptor in the box and the TCL A1 which had a removable battery came with a blue battery that was the same color as the Alcatel batteries then they made a newer version of the lx I forget what it was called though I sold and activated cell phones for the company that did Walmart wireless for almost a year. This is TCL's first phone that isn't a hunk of crap!

    imagine this phone being released 4 years ago. It would have broken records and give One Plus a run for their money. Literally.

    I bought this phone in December 17th by February 9th the phone was totally dead the screen went black and it had a update .I follow TCL instructions to hard reset,but for the short time I had it the cameras was nice and build quality was good and display was good too and battery life.the speaker is tinny not a lot of bass. I eventually throw it in the garbage ,but good video you just got another subscriber

      Another person who didn't read the article properly, they said "at minimum 1 major OS update" doesn't rule out more than one, I guess it depends how well the phone sells, but they are doing at least 2 years security updates.

      @@Liam-ug3iq Er, I did read the article properly as I was privy to the info at the CES show in Jan, only now 22may have they made any guarantees as follows We can confirm both the TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L will, at minimum, receive one major OS update as well as SMR updates every two months for 2 years.”, kind regards Richard U.K

    $450 plus tax is almost a $500 phone. So please stop saying its only $450.
    It’s cheap compared to something like a $1400 S20 ultra. But not cheap for a lot of people.
    I don’t know of many people that will not care if their $450 phone breaks.
    So at that price or at any price. If I pay for a product. I would like it to work as expected.

    Have the chinese ever designed something that wasnt a complete rip off of someone else's product? Not in just technology, but literally in any god damn market. Christ

    • @israelramirez0202
      @israelramirez0202 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe this exact design was started by either Huawei or Xiaomi as the panel looks exactly like the display of the P30 Pro so it's more than likely an off-the-shelf part that was obtained for really cheap. Chinese manufacturing supply chains usually share vendors to reduce prices per part. I'd hardly call this copying since Chinese oems coined this specific design.

    Great company. Their TVs are great. Only a matter of time before they get after the Koreans and Samsung. All this Chinaphobia being pushed by our government is bulls#$!+. They have some of the best technological minds in the world there. Wouldn't be one bit afraid of this phone, especially at less than half the cost of Samsung and Apple.
