I'm disabled and use a knee scooter, so I'm definitely looking for a scooter(I can sit on). I wish you would do another (sitble) scooter for comparison. You have multiple of other electronic transportation products except for this kind of product. I know you don't like them, hence removing the seat... but if you get a chance can you please keep this on the back of your mind. I've been on a knee scooter for 4 years and it's not going away.... probably ever. I already lost my passion of driving a manual from my work injury, and I actually gave up driving all together. So I just live everyday I bed... anyways I'm hoping that if I find a good electronic scooter it will give me hope to get back outside and outdoors again in the warmer months. Thank you. Keep up the great work btw! 💜💜
My first scooter was a razor e300. Still have it for quick rides. Then upgraded it to razor metro. Had that for 5 years. Loved the heck out of it. Decided to upgrade again and did a ton of Research. This scooter fits me best. But what sold me was YOUR video. Lots out there but you get down to ALL the questions I had. So I just bought one. Can't wait to ride it. Thank you.
I love your energy. Thank you for hard testing this scooter on all terrains. You make me want to buy it. I am not a fan of the winding noise when accelerating but it's not a deal breaker. Most of my e-scooters only go 18 MPH and do not come with seats. It being 50 lbs is heavy to left for me as a female with herniated discs. I will have to have someone assemble it. Honestly, you taught something. I didn't even know you could adjust your breaks. I thought the knobs were a decor feature LOL.
Pretty nice Scooter! I see that you had a Avantrek in the back ground. I just ordered a Lectric brand 2.0 e bike. It is supposed to be delivered this morning and I am excited! Nice to see Jen and Gus, his little legs can carry him along at a pretty good speed! Thanks Chris and of course thumbs UP! 👍
Okay - this seems perfect for my wife. We were going to get the GoTrax Flex, but that one has a limited range of only 9-12 real miles. Anyway, the only thing keeping us from getting the Hiboy is that it's sounds like the motor is whining in every video I have played regarding it. Is this a true assessment? Or am I missing out on not getting this one.
I'm glad you noticed the whine in the motor. Iseen a few videos on this scooter, and every time I hear the wine, but no one ever mentions it.. it's it as loud in person as it is on the video?
I would say it's a little less loud in person but definitely noticeable and present. Although it hasn't caused any issues and I'm still using this scooter.
Hi, I'm so glad I found your video! I just received this scooter today. What does it mean if the battery voltage shows 47.4 instead of 54.2 like in your video? Thanks!
Chris,I live in w.v,and i enjoy watching your videos, for i am from west bristol .i miss the clay canal paths,as we have rails to trails here topped with huge balast, kills batt.pwr
Just got one and put it together. Mine has a spring coil over the front brake line. Is that a new thing do you guess or is supposed to come off? Seems like it might offer some protection I suppose. We really had to adjust the front tire so it wasn't too tight, otherwise it wouldn't spin freely. We used the two wrenches that came with it and even then found it too tight. I'm surprised you were able to use a socket wrench (or whatever it's called). When you ride yours do you hear any noise at all coming from the front tire during rotation? I can hear some noise almost like a swooshing or a rubbing. It's not a grinding, but I'm wondering if there should be any noise at all. I know the motor is loud, but that's not the noise. Maybe I should contact Hiboy. We disassembled the tire and put the brake drum back in. But still hear it. So maybe that's just a normal sound. I was just wondering if yours is totally silent, then maybe there's something off with mine.
would love to see you show how to add an extra 10 or 20A battery to this little bad boy, this way i can do it too lol am guessing theres a lot of us owners who would love to know how to get more than 15 to 20 mile real range, suspect if any one can do this it would be you, so what are ya waiting for - Do it - so us how lol !!!
How do I replace my left brake lever. My scooter fell and broke left brake and bell. I ordered a new one arriving now. But have no idea what I am doing.
You would have made it home if you had the kick to start on the p-settings, bogs down the battery just using the throttle from a stand-still but uses less battery when you push it when you accelerate.
I've been rocking it as it is in so far so good. The basket is super handy. I actually put side baskets on it as well. It's my parts runner. I ditched the seat. No need for it
I just got ming last week. I rode it once to the park. I went out a second time today. It has a watch on the little dashboard. Every time the watch with a M in the middle comes on. It will not go! I cannot figure out how to get it off. I believe it’s a Bluetooth mode, or something. We went downtown, every time I went by people. It would not go. I would have to walk it away from people, until the watch symbol would go off. Can anyone help me, or anyone else have this problem with this scooter ?
I love how you did a range test & picked up your beer. Thats a great beer run.

I like these reviews for Hiboy, because I'm thinking about buying one.
Thanks for making this. Super helpful review. Think I’m gonna buy one tonight’s super stoked!

I don't have one and don't intend to have one but the run through on the owners manual will be invaluable to someone in the future so - Well done.
Great video so good to see Jen and Gus man at the end too. Nice job good to see you followers growing fast too well deserved

I own a Hiboy P6 fat tire e bike. It works great and has been trouble free. Time too order a aet of these scooters for me, my wife and her yorkie.

@NNKH2 Amazon has it on sale $300 off. I want it. It looks gangster AF, but that whine might get on my nerves.. but thank you for the reply and video.
Awesome video would be perfect for bigger car shows 👌
Question: I’m 5’4 145lbs I live 2.5 miles from my job so you think this would be good enough to get me back and forth for a while?
Yes for sure
Pretty cool. Nice trails.
You got 20 miles going wide open that’s not bad. Might get one.
Nice,Thanks for the review❤❤

I think that’s pretty good I like it would be a good grocery getter for a yacht
Nice. This would be great for someone who can't walk too far. they can just hop on and curse on there way. Thank You For Sharing.
Especially if it’s raining 😉

Not sure if im a fan of the bear trap cargo rack.

How long does the battery life last
Thanks man

Good point you make!
@@NNKH2 got that advice from a TH-cam scooter video actually.😎
the second one, Why not make a base of metal wrapped around the chassis with screws and install a seat on it, that's well worth it i think
1:16 oh man gus man
This would be great fun here in the UK but unfortunately having fun is illegal.
How much for hiboy
You said you are 6' 2" I am also. How cramped or comfortable is this scooter?
It was pretty comfortable for my height
The only thing I see that it could use would be trun singles lights on it
Those are very cool but slow I would have to modify the hell out of it
I've been rocking it as it is in so far so good. The basket is super handy. I actually put side baskets on it as well. It's my parts runner. I ditched the seat. No need for it
Were you on a canal towpath?
Got me scooter to
Idk what I'm doing wrong, my handlebars don't don't turn the bar that turns the wheel. Hopefully you or someone else can help me
Maybe something wrong with the head bearings or are the cables binding up?
@@NNKH2no the cables look fine I think something might be wrong with the head bearings
@@NNKH2I took a couple pictures of what it looks like do you have messenger or an email where I cam send them to you so you can see?
@@NNKH2 hey I just figured out what the problem is. That clamp idk how to get it in that slot. Maybe you can help me with that. Hopefully you can
Anyone realize or have a similar issue where this scooters odometer resets after 62 miles mine does
Why not show prices, for these e-bikes/scooters. That would be mega helpful 😊.
🙂😀😃😄😁😎👋🤞✌️👌👍☝️🤙👏🙏
I put Link in the description. They always change prices so why mention it if they're constantly changing
All I got is one hand 🤚 lol shit gets real
I want one...
