Wondering if he ever uses tire chains that's what we use in Colorado. they're not always the solution but they usually help you get just a little more stuck..
killer episode! congrats on 100k. question: why not use chains for the deep snow? seems like a lot of the troubles you had with the slippery slopes would be solved with chains.
I was thinking the same. Once you got in super deep, a beefy set of chains would help the rubber with grip? At some point the snow is too deep no matter what you're driving unless its on tracks :) . Awesome video!
That deep it wouldn't matter. You need to float above snow that deep with large tires and low gear. Either that or tracks. I would have gone with tracks for that leg of the trip but that would have required some logistical prep work prior.
As a new owner of a '21 Rubicon, I would have no problem putting my trust in these guys to safely explore...as a retired broadcaster (television), my compliments on the photography, sound & editing....job well done!
@@joshuakim6810 Had a 4Runner ... underpowered & outdated tech. I’ve been running Jeeps ever since, but Toyota fanboys are blinded by old myths about reliability.
Add a tie down strap or something on a handle and use it as an anchor to tie to a tree then just follow the strap when you are done to find the maxx traxx
Man people sleep on your content And you stay crankin out videos too Some of the best quality off road videos out there Very cinematic Kind of like a story (pun intended) you’re on to big things man I can feel it Congrats on the 100k found your channel about a year year and a half ago
First, congrats on 100k subs!! Well earned my brother, your cinematography is outstanding. Second, bacon ALWAYS makes everything better, don't question it😂😂
I've wheeled in snow that felt this deep to our rigs. 12 hrs to get through the trail. I was so exhausted it made me hate snow wheeling forever. Props to you guys for being up to the challenge
Yep! I hate driving on snow roads! They don`t deserve the effort, neither physical / machine / vehicles, nor personal! Not even for the scenery! Anyway, good driving, stay safe!
For the love of God and tacos and all that is good in this world, how this channel doesn't have a billion subscribers by now is beyond me. Every video is excellent. This one was completely amazing.......and made me hungry for donuts.
Great video again . That snow was really deep for sure. The champagne / wine cork pop was hilarious . Congratulations on you 100k subscribers here's to 100k more .
Lighter rig+ really low tire pressure + low range and diff locks is how u do the deep stuff. You have to float on top of it instead of plow through. I learned that from the people over at pirate jeep productions, they do tons of snow wheeling
The Gladiators are awful in deep snow! My diesel gladiator just plows and gets stuck, just like yours. I ran 9psi, 4 low, and still kept sinking in the snow. My buddy’s Wrangler just floated right over in 4 hi, no lockers. He let me drive it, it was night and day.
Congrats on 100k! Every video is better than the last can’t wait to see where the channel goes. As a 4x4 Toyota fan with a 40 series and a 4Runner TRD Pro my wife drives, it makes me very happy to see one kicking ass like that 🙌🏻
First congrats on 100k, also it was perfect that it wasn’t the right bottle. Definitely a good laugh on my end. Going forward I would love if you could work in some more rig related info. I know as a gladiator owner and being on the forums and groups and seeing you brought up a lot there’s a lot of guys in the same boat that would like to hear co start updates on how the new suspension is working, how things like tires are performing as they wear etc. The adventures are great but the gear is a major draw for those of us doing our own adventures.
congrats on the hundred thousand, with this video and so many other EPIC adventures you've shared with us , it amazes me your not at a million already.!!
Great vids guys, big thumbs up. I personally have no use for snow, been fighting it all my life, especially warm wet snow. Its a totally different animal colder than -25ish. All I can say is chains.
All the wat from across the pond, greatings from holland. Love your work, the cinematics are amazing. The canadian rocky’s are my all time favorite vacation destanation! Miss it! Your video’s make we want to go back even more.
Thanks for the wonderful video again, it was another visual feast. Regarding your donut choice, I see we could share a box of Tim's assorted quite well sir, as you pick the ones I do not prefer! Thanks again and have a fine spring out there at the coast.
Covid, for me, was being in a hotel room in feb 2020 in Vancouver and stumbling across @The Story Till Now and @Casey250 on TH-cam, and getting bitten by the Jeep bug. Lockdown only brought more TH-cam, which meant more Jeep videos. Finally bought my Wrangler Unlimited Altitude in July and I'm a fervent watcher of your content. Keep it up, boyz!
Red wine is great with steaks, perfect choice better than champagne. You need some tractor tires to put on the jeep to get some more clearance then the snow is not to deep.
Congrats on 100K Sean, and the rest of you. Hopefully some day I’ll get a chance to wheel a fraction of what you do. Till then, Kudos, and keep taking us all there with you.... 🍻
I remember watching you back when you had under 10K subs and still had the old jeep. I remember searching up your channel after I saw your jeep at Triangle Road in Richmond. keep up the good work!
Congrats on the 100K subscribers, keep up the great content and can't wait to see you top 1 million. FYI..... the champagne/red wine pop was hilarious.

Congrats on 100k! Pretty wild how the jump from 1k. Well deserved. Love yours and @Casey250’s channels. I was gonna ask what lights you’re running on the bumper then saw you lost one at the end of the vid:(
You guys should have KORN playing "Got the life" in the beginning of the video with the 4 meat pasta LOL. I had a 1993 Toyota Tacoma and that little beast would go up anything in low 1. Thank you guys for doing this I love it! THANK YOU!
Shawn. I’ve been following you for a long time and I am very impressed by the quality of your videos and how much you’ve matured in your presentations. Keep up the good work keep doing what you’re doing and we support you
As always, great video! But man...air those tires down more! You’ve got beadlocks, get down to at least 5lbs and flatten those tires out. They can handle it, and your rig becomes like a snow machine.
Support the adventure! Merch available at www.dirtyanddangerous.com :D
Congratulations from Nepal 🇳🇵 and you deserve millions❤️ best of luck

Thanks Gabe! Great meeting you as well.
You’re lucky these guys came by.
Hadley is adorable🤗 and adventurous😎
Congratulations on a hundred thousand i have no doubt in my mind this Chanel will reach beyond a million
Snow is never too deep - it's just the tires that are too small :-)
Best regards from Iceland.

I was thinking the same. Once you got in super deep, a beefy set of chains would help the rubber with grip? At some point the snow is too deep no matter what you're driving unless its on tracks :) . Awesome video!
When you bury it with chains on all four, you're really really stuck.
That deep it wouldn't matter. You need to float above snow that deep with large tires and low gear. Either that or tracks. I would have gone with tracks for that leg of the trip but that would have required some logistical prep work prior.
Chains only work if you can touch bottom if you can’t low pressure and flotation is what you want

Such a great episode.
Mostly stock, the 3" lift definitely helped or I'd have been plowing a lot more snow :)
@@ChefJon250 Thanks. I too have a 3" lift on my 4runner but but even with that I am not sure I would have try this trail.

That 4Runner handled! Good vid, and congrats on 100K! Keep up the entertaining work.
Used to take my 4Runner with all the jeeps it always outperformed the jeeps. The only thing I found Jeep’s had the upper hand was clearance.
Even though you didn’t make it to the ocean , still an epic experience , and congratulations on 100k
Congratulations on the reward Keep on keeping on

Glad your videos aren't as flat as that cork pop... gorgeous scenery as always
That was a hell of a run. Good food and champagne err I mean wine. Busted up when the cork came off.
Wonderful video and congratulations! The attempt to get to the ocean and the scenery was awesome! Love seeing you guys no matter what!
The capabilities of those vehicles are amazing!
Curious why no tire chains used,
amazing videos as always, congrats on 100k subs, love you guys, always inspiring.
Chains dig, they don't float. Your best chance is to air down. Cheers from BC.
