Deadlight is a sidescrolling survival horror cinematic platformer game for Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) developed by Tequila Works and published by Microsoft Studios.
The story of the game takes place in 1986 after the decimation of society following the outbreak of a virus that reanimates the dead. Players control protagonist Randall Wayne as he searches for his family through a zombie infested Seattle, while struggling to survive against not just the walking dead, but fellow survivors alike.

I'm here because I kept confusing this game with Dying Light.
Or Dead by Daylight.

As soon as you said it plays like the first two Oddworld games I became interested. Two of my favorite games on the PSOne.
This is on my list of the top 5 most under-rated games for sure.
+The Wiggzler so fucking under-rated, this is a master piece, and dumb gamers can't see why, because they are... idiots.

It's funny i beat this game this weekend. I earned all the achievements, loaded up my youtube and was like "Hell yeh theRadBrad is doing Deadlight"

They wouldnt be able to put it up for free unless valve says so. Valve owns the left 4 dead series, and the creator of valve HATES microsoft, so i dont think it would happen. But hey, youre getting free games, so stop whining. A free game is a free game, its FREE.

Bought this game after two minutes of playing the demo. Have been playing it most of the day and reckon I am 3/4 of the way through... Had to physically tear myself away in the end. Tomorrow morning, guess what I'll be doing?! Deadlight.

This may have already been pointed out but if the R.T. Chase they mention in this one is the serial killer then i'm assuming each one you find is a serial killer from roughly the same time period. Kinda cool, in a messed up way.

Brad if you are looking for a longer, not as dark, and amazing game, you should play Shadow Complex, It's a 2D 3D feeling Side scroller that has a arcade game of the year pick for it. =)

My journey to watching Brads video started with this game. 2D, 3D or 1D doesn't matter this is by far of the best post Apocalyptic game ever. The level design and sound effects and mostly the story is one of a kind. At 2019 and 2020 (Shit Covid year) we have Dayz Gone and Last of us to play and watch but this is yet one of the best.
Its a long journey with Brad. Wish you all the best and keep playing more "Zombie Games". :D
