If Jelle is able to do the Marbula E season this year and gets the FE commentator (Jack? I'm hopeless with names) back to join Greg, maybe he will put in a good word for him? Assuming Greg wants that, of course. Tbh, he's one of the best commentators I've heard in 50+ years of being a petrolhead! Not exaggerating. Any chance of Marbula E this year, Jelle? Clementin not only had a bad start, but the pace was horrible. This is embarrassing for our home race. You clearly can see who's the first marble in the team.
It’s always been that way for M1. Orangin carries. I think Clementine needs to step down or retire after this season if we want to enjoy any sustained success.
The sand section of this course is an unbeatable feature over any other track which makes this circuit one of the most exciting! The amount of overtakes that happened in the sand section is insane, great race Jelle.
Sigh, such is the luck of being a Galactic fan, always good but never great. Cosmo still did a valiant effort, considering he dropped to dead last and climbed back 10 spots, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. All our direct competitors did awful as well, so it's not as bad as it could've been.

Yeah that whole race was a roller coaster ride itself. Started 3rd, plummeted to last, clawed back to 10th.. Not a horrible race but we did drop a few slots in the overall standings...
Cosmo had a critical failure at the beginning and lost a possible poll position for us. However the way he recovered 10 spots back is still commendable. Still have faith
Watching him drop to dead last in the first two laps was… disheartening to say the least. Proud of how he didn’t give up, kept fighting until the very end. #ReachForTheStars
Yes, I was willing him on. He had a very decent first lap, but then after exiting the belt he had a very hard impact with the metal bar that lost him all his speed. This in turn meant he got a wrong exit through the first lefthander and he ended up on the wrong side of the divider. And as this is a very long track, once you lose a lot of speed as he did with that impact, it will take the full lap at least to gain it back. I am very proud of him that he fought back to 10th place though.
Disappointed after a great qualification round, proud of the fight and reaching top 10 after being last! Early days and the title race is there for the taking #reachforthestars
I can't help but feel that Cosmo's stumble on the elevator in Q2 was some kind of foreshadowing. That divider hit @ 2:29 was devastating. Ending in 10th place feels pretty good after falling down to last place a lap after that disaster. Smoggy really did a great job at keeping Cosmo behind him during the last laps. Finally passing him must have been the silver lining of this race for Cosmo.
My poor Cosmo, hitting the first attenuator on lap 2 and falling to the bottom of the field!!! They did soo much work to try and make it back. What an exciting race at the front! Was fascinating watching RedEye stalk the podium places just waiting for a chance, left the move slightly too late though.
Seeing Red Eye come down to 6h spot and then make it back up to 2nd was incredible ! That marble is worth the watch !! Still a great victory for Bonbon, the battle with Glimmer was really something, he earned it.
Man Green Ducks have really fallen off from being a top team in both Marble League and Marbula One. Hope to see my team turn it around soon but this has been hard to watch

I think their issue is that they push so hard to make a good impression in their first appearance (2nd place overall in their first appearances in both Marble League and Marbula One) but can't make that ground back and are overshadowed by how much they pushed themselves prior.
Horrible start, followed by the best minutes of racing we have seen this season from the ducks, only to be smashed at the exit of the belt to lose it all... Is it a good sign that we at least saw some spark? Idk. Still need to improve massively, starting with the qualifying. #QuackAttack 🦆💚
I think Prim's just fed up of Marbula One right now and continually having to carry. That's my headcanon as to why the Snowballs weren't in this season - Snowy couldn't take being the only good team member anymore.

I really feel the quality of the races rising as all athletes continue to get accustomed with the new racing format in its second year of Marbula 1. Red Eye started so many attacks to move up in the ranking but was denied again and again until the very last 2 turns! Putting a fantastic athlete like Red Eye into his place for the majority of the race is certainly not an easy feat. I am excited for the next race already.
Satisfied with that one. Mimo was blocked a few times when making ground, but came back well towards the end. Still in touch with the leaders in the overall standings. And what a great race!
Decent recovery for Cosmo after falling to last place, but man that graph showing him falling off a cliff is a brutal image. Team Galactic seems to always run into trouble coming off the ramp.
The thing is the Hazers are always unpredictable. We’ll start off towards the bottom then just get two podium finishes and be back in third or so. Its crazy how much we bounce we around from one end of the standings to the other
Smoggy fought tooth and nail in the midpack today, you have to give him props for that. He almost had top-10 cracked too, but his exhaustion caught up to him on the last lap allowing Cosmo to place tenth. I expected a non-scoring position. #HazeAmaze
Royal def has potential to get a win in this season, royal is def very fast, but however the only problem is, he seems to have a problem and taking the 2nd place or the lead
Considering the not-so-great season the Kobalts have been having in pretty much everything the last couple years, I will absolutely take a P4 finish from Royal! Plenty of tape to watch afterwards, have to think there'll be some great coaching moments between races
This has gotta be a heck of a morale killer for the O'rangers, but I'm hoping Orangin can take that baton pass and run like the wind, at least get a decent pole position for the next race
This was an incredibly disappointing race, especially at the home track. The qualifying as a team has been uninspiring. Having to fight to the front leaves too much room for possible backbreaking collisions which has in fact hurt them this season. O’Rangers need clean air to be competitive in the races. I wish clean air and open track would be a luxury for them to improve but it has become a necessity for them to even be a factor.
@@footy5172 Orangin isn’t near as much a problem, even got the pile to start off. Clementin has been unable to fight back from poor qualifying performances.
It's a shame such a historic team as the Pinkies are performing so badly, as a Limers fan since 2017 I was disappointed we were left out, but I chose to make the Minty Maniacs my 2nd team and it's so nice to have your team actually do pretty good. I'm so used to the Limers being mediocre at best and terrible at worst, I really envy supporters of the most successful teams.
Oceanics and Limers are a meme because they have a lot of fans (and the Oceanics hosted... that marble league), but the actual worst team has always been the pinkies. I legit can't think of a single competition they weren't terrible in and I'm pretty sure they have been in the bottom 3-4 in at least three marble leagues. You made a rough decision buddy.
I'm a happy Team Momo fan so far. They've been consistently decent, and Mimo did a great job coming back from a not-so-good qualifying lap. And congrats to the Chocolatiers for their first Marbula One win!
This was a very eventful race. Spoilers: - Thunder & Cosmo almost got bodied out of the top 10 and fought super hard to get back there. - Red Eye had an amazing final push there. Royal is probably really angry about that one. - Bumble played amazingly well. In just a few laps they entered the top 10 from the back of the pack and no one could push them out. - Speedy couldn't make the move they wanted, but the Savage Speeders still have that scary aura to them. They were the guard dog for the top 5. Mimo's final push got past Speedy though. - WHAT HAPPENED TO PRIM? LMAO. MARY 2.0
I guess Prim just got tired from carrying the whole team so hard… And it’s been frustrating to see the Speeders struggle so much this season, but maybe this is the kind of performance they needed to jolt them back in it. They’re always a threat to just go off on one. And Clementin may have just been feeling cocky about being on their home track, since we’re used to them being such a consistent performer. Not as flashy as Orangin, but more reliable than they were today.
@@ekrathrawl savage speeders have consistently had bad starts to the season- We'll get there. speedy showed their skill today and rapidly has scored both races.
that was a great race by Red Eye. Nerve-wrecking to watch it constantly hounding the top 3, but always losing momentum when it tried to overtake, because of all the physical contact. And still Red Eye brought up a last surge of energy, and right at the exact time, to jump up to 2nd place. There's one thing that Red Eye could improve, and that would be to win more shoulder-to-shoulder impacts.
I really appreciate all the effort and talent put in to all the JMR events, but I have to take a moment to say how impressed I am by the camera work. That shot from the end of the sand section was just gorgeous!
For what was a rather lacklustre qualifying, its hard to imagine a race topping this one for this season of M1. Props to Bumble who definiately ate a heathy bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios today.
Dang this was actually crazy, it's really awesome to see the marbles mimic each other's lines as they go. Was a bit annoyed at Red Eye for not making any progress but then that quick overtake for 2nd place was great. Yellow Eye really needs to shape up and help as well, we can still take the entire thing!

If Orangin can bounce back next race, we still can be optimistic. Clementin may have been training for other non-race events in the Marble League hence his poor performance.
Yeah it seems that Orangin is consistently a top tier racer whereas Clementin can have some good runs, but can also be a liability when it comes to racing.
What a race! Great battles across the field. Unfortunate weekend for the O’rangers. Could’ve stretched that team lead with a solid finish today, but who doesn’t like a competitive season? Can’t wait for more drama as the season continues.
My heart is hurting so far this season. Green Ducks need to get it together. I love Mallard and Billy, but perhaps a marble change is needed to change their fortunes. They qualify badly and then make mistakes at pivotal points. Lets Go Ducks!!!! But, on another note, so good to have the Marbula One back, been missing it! Great job to Jelle and Greg! You bring us weirdos a lot of joy watching marbles race around!
Here’s an idea, hear me out - Marbula 2. This will contain teams that did NOT make it to Marbula 1: Solar Flares, Limers, Chocolatiers… and even some teams that no longer compete, such as the Hornets, Jawbreakers, and the Quicksilvers. This is just an idea. Thoughts, Jelle?
Billy had such a struggle this race. Started in 17th, immediately fell back to 20th, climbed all the way to 10th then got pounded into the sand and fell right back to 20th, but still managed to climb back up and finish in 14th, getting 13th snatched from him at the last minute.
Mad props to Cosmo and my team Galactic. Two great showings in a row in the qualifiers, and Cosmo being able to place 10th after falling all the way to last place was impressive.

I like that lap by lap diagram chart shown at the end. What I've consistently seen is generally the top five stay in the top five finishing about the order that they started.

Cosmo had a very "Cosmo moment", but I was impressed by his patient effort to secure a top 10 finish despite the disaster. It's yet another classic non-Starry week for Galactic where we struggle, but I'm hoping Cosmo can keep that energy from the later laps for his next races. He just needs to avoid the big mistakes. Starry is always the anchor to the team, so if he can be a game manager and run decent, clean races, we've got a shot.
Ahhhhh Clementin I'm sitting here an O'Rangers fan, and they're at the home track, and 18th... not the greatest... at least we still have the current (narrow) championship lead! But in all seriousness, congrats to Bon-Bon. It's so rare to see a Chocolatier victory, you just gotta love it when it happens! And Red Eye! Geez! Stayed in fourth like the whole race, then just bursts up to second in the last two laps... wow! Definitely carrying Yellow Eye however... but maybe he (Yellow Eye) will shapen up and return to last seasons glory! Overall, a GREAT race, as usual, and my props to Jelle and the crew, making these amazing races every week!

Geez watching cosmo race was a doozy. Messing up the first split and falling literally to last place over the next few laps then slowly clawed their way back up to 10th. What a crazy race.
I guess Prim must have caught some sand cause he seemed to struggle with his steering last couple of laps. Still disappointing that someone with his experience is unable to roll that off. Great track though! And +1 for a second division with promotion and degradation.
Red Eye had me worried for a minute there falling back but clearly was just saving up for the final sprint at the end. For an average amount of overtaking in the race this was incredibly tense and close the whole time.

Well, Smoggy gained up a few spots, but I certainly hope that the next races will go better for the Hazers!
He was trying and ramping up from the back in the first half but just couldn't seem to crack past Thunderbolt.

Yeah, we didn't qualify well. 2 races in and a 16th and a win...We can't win a championship like that.

Considering the not-so-great season the Kobalts have been having in pretty much everything the last couple years, I will absolutely take a P4 finish from Royal! Plenty of tape to watch afterwards, have to think there'll be some great coaching moments between races

This has gotta be a heck of a morale killer for the O'rangers, but I'm hoping Orangin can take that baton pass and run like the wind, at least get a decent pole position for the next race

This was an incredibly disappointing race, especially at the home track. The qualifying as a team has been uninspiring. Having to fight to the front leaves too much room for possible backbreaking collisions which has in fact hurt them this season. O’Rangers need clean air to be competitive in the races. I wish clean air and open track would be a luxury for them to improve but it has become a necessity for them to even be a factor.
They don't seem to do well at the home track. The sand has bothered them every time. Clem always seems to do better in funnel events than in races.
@@footy5172 Orangin isn’t near as much a problem, even got the pile to start off. Clementin has been unable to fight back from poor qualifying performances.

It's a shame such a historic team as the Pinkies are performing so badly, as a Limers fan since 2017 I was disappointed we were left out, but I chose to make the Minty Maniacs my 2nd team and it's so nice to have your team actually do pretty good. I'm so used to the Limers being mediocre at best and terrible at worst, I really envy supporters of the most successful teams.
Oceanics and Limers are a meme because they have a lot of fans (and the Oceanics hosted... that marble league), but the actual worst team has always been the pinkies. I legit can't think of a single competition they weren't terrible in and I'm pretty sure they have been in the bottom 3-4 in at least three marble leagues. You made a rough decision buddy.
I'm a happy Team Momo fan so far. They've been consistently decent, and Mimo did a great job coming back from a not-so-good qualifying lap.
And congrats to the Chocolatiers for their first Marbula One win!
I just want to say that red eye is carrying crazy cats eyes and the moves on the 12th lap was insane. Yellow eye needs to pick it up
This was a very eventful race.
Spoilers:
- Thunder & Cosmo almost got bodied out of the top 10 and fought super hard to get back there.
- Red Eye had an amazing final push there. Royal is probably really angry about that one.
- Bumble played amazingly well. In just a few laps they entered the top 10 from the back of the pack and no one could push them out.
- Speedy couldn't make the move they wanted, but the Savage Speeders still have that scary aura to them. They were the guard dog for the top 5. Mimo's final push got past Speedy though.
- WHAT HAPPENED TO PRIM? LMAO. MARY 2.0
i gotta say i was watching speedy the whole way, and iceberg's defense in the first half was insane. really really fun to watch
Prim was the carry for Team Primary before, now the weakling Aryp is so much better, the reserve is better then the actual player
I guess Prim just got tired from carrying the whole team so hard… And it’s been frustrating to see the Speeders struggle so much this season, but maybe this is the kind of performance they needed to jolt them back in it. They’re always a threat to just go off on one. And Clementin may have just been feeling cocky about being on their home track, since we’re used to them being such a consistent performer. Not as flashy as Orangin, but more reliable than they were today.

@@ekrathrawl savage speeders have consistently had bad starts to the season- We'll get there. speedy showed their skill today and rapidly has scored both races.
Red Eye continuing to show that championship prowess. I feel that this race is motivation for the rest of the season. #CCE
that was a great race by Red Eye. Nerve-wrecking to watch it constantly hounding the top 3, but always losing momentum when it tried to overtake, because of all the physical contact. And still Red Eye brought up a last surge of energy, and right at the exact time, to jump up to 2nd place.
There's one thing that Red Eye could improve, and that would be to win more shoulder-to-shoulder impacts.
I don't think Red Eye has the makings of a hustler; strategy and speed my friend
I think that after the last time CCE won a shoulder to shoulder they are fearful of getting penalised again.

For what was a rather lacklustre qualifying, its hard to imagine a race topping this one for this season of M1.
Props to Bumble who definiately ate a heathy bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios today.
Dang this was actually crazy, it's really awesome to see the marbles mimic each other's lines as they go.
Was a bit annoyed at Red Eye for not making any progress but then that quick overtake for 2nd place was great. Yellow Eye really needs to shape up and help as well, we can still take the entire thing!
Mad props to Speedy. Starting in twelfth and finishing sixth. Not mad about that happening. Was a GREAT race.

Wow the O’rangers did not have good luck this time. And they were doing so good, hopefully this isn’t a sign of what’s to come.
If Orangin can bounce back next race, we still can be optimistic. Clementin may have been training for other non-race events in the Marble League hence his poor performance.
Clementin is known to have these results from time to time, it was to be expected, combined with host curse.
Yeah it seems that Orangin is consistently a top tier racer whereas Clementin can have some good runs, but can also be a liability when it comes to racing.
Noticed Clem kept getting jostled whenever he got some speed early on in the race
Clementin looked like he was carrying an injury so he's forgiven for that performance

What a race! Great battles across the field. Unfortunate weekend for the O’rangers. Could’ve stretched that team lead with a solid finish today, but who doesn’t like a competitive season? Can’t wait for more drama as the season continues.
I was scared of a Pulsar repeat when Cosmo got sent down to last place in lap 2, but so proud of how he clawed back up to tenth! Valiant effort!
My heart is hurting so far this season. Green Ducks need to get it together. I love Mallard and Billy, but perhaps a marble change is needed to change their fortunes. They qualify badly and then make mistakes at pivotal points. Lets Go Ducks!!!! But, on another note, so good to have the Marbula One back, been missing it! Great job to Jelle and Greg! You bring us weirdos a lot of joy watching marbles race around!

Billy had such a struggle this race. Started in 17th, immediately fell back to 20th, climbed all the way to 10th then got pounded into the sand and fell right back to 20th, but still managed to climb back up and finish in 14th, getting 13th snatched from him at the last minute.

What I've consistently seen is generally the top five stay in the top five finishing about the order that they started.

Cosmo went from 3rf to 5th to last but managed to come back to 10th. Not the greatest performance but it could've been worst

They’ve slowly gotten better finishes, they went 9th, 8th, then 6th, and now 5th +fl. I’m really hoping this trend continues
Cosmo had a very "Cosmo moment", but I was impressed by his patient effort to secure a top 10 finish despite the disaster. It's yet another classic non-Starry week for Galactic where we struggle, but I'm hoping Cosmo can keep that energy from the later laps for his next races. He just needs to avoid the big mistakes. Starry is always the anchor to the team, so if he can be a game manager and run decent, clean races, we've got a shot.

But in all seriousness, congrats to Bon-Bon. It's so rare to see a Chocolatier victory, you just gotta love it when it happens!
And Red Eye! Geez! Stayed in fourth like the whole race, then just bursts up to second in the last two laps... wow! Definitely carrying Yellow Eye however... but maybe he (Yellow Eye) will shapen up and return to last seasons glory!
Overall, a GREAT race, as usual, and my props to Jelle and the crew, making these amazing races every week!

Geez watching cosmo race was a doozy. Messing up the first split and falling literally to last place over the next few laps then slowly clawed their way back up to 10th. What a crazy race.
I guess Prim must have caught some sand cause he seemed to struggle with his steering last couple of laps. Still disappointing that someone with his experience is unable to roll that off. Great track though! And +1 for a second division with promotion and degradation.
Red Eye had me worried for a minute there falling back but clearly was just saving up for the final sprint at the end. For an average amount of overtaking in the race this was incredibly tense and close the whole time.
Back to the drawing board, Midnight Wisps. Whatever raggedy strategy you're aiming for is falling flat.
Man, Minty Maniacs had a tough round. It's only going to get harder from here. They gotta step up their game!
