- You are joining us in the town of Frasers Hill, where we finished the last episode. We have been stuck on the highways for all of Malaysia so far, so hoping that we can find some trails to take the Suzuki DR650s down. It doesn't exactly go to plan. Luckily, we then get the help of a group of bikers in Penang to help us in our search.
Life is short take your time. It's not about the distance traveled It's about the journey you take to get where you are. Here's a tip so you'll never be lost, wherever you go there you are...

We all enjoy a nice ride with decent views no doubt,. though I think slowing down and exploring the local places is also the go.. You will inevitably do some long distance rides as well which will then provide a nice blend to your vlogs..
Yeah I think same distance, maybe more - just go the wiggly way! -H
Loving the motorcycle lane cut throughs, I would always recommend slow over fast but that is my age

@@RidingOnEggshells Just my opinion or observations of course - the same privileges that allow you to travel the world and pay the way to bring your own motorcycles along with you, could be interpreted as negating the necessity to scrounge for food as though you were low in the pecking order!

Damn, you guys are as bad as us. It's a good job we didn't travel together we would all still be in the outback somewhere with broken bikes haha
Oh and i miss those motorcycle lanes, we badly need them everywhere in the world.
Yeah it is lovely, though we did see a lot of crazy riding in Malaysia and though we didn't show it on the video, on the Penang Island bridge on the way out we saw three crashed motorcycles, one fatal with a body under a tarp. Pretty sobering! -H
@@RidingOnEggshells Oh wow i could imagine. That bridge is crazy we stopped go get drone footage and it wasnt a good idea. India and myanmar were the most crazy roads for us, getting tired riding was legitimately very dangerous. Our coffee intake increased significantly haha

Yeah we feel the same a bit! We'd never really planned on spending much time in Malaysia so extended only a bit so we could get back to Thailand which is important to Liss as she's lived here before. Sorry you didn't get to see more of it! I may pull out some clips and make some shorts and insta videos about it. -H

Crikey you can keep those cobras - I'll stick to red bellys and the odd eastern brown. I wear shinguards offroad i got a pretty cheap set on ebay and had a few reds banging off them last summer here that i saw too late to swerve for. might be worth getting a set each stop them flicking up and hitting your legs if you run one over in the future th-cam.com/video/WkFlxYerZJ8/w-d-xo.html

Love the video, it gives just a glimpse of the places you visit. Speed up or slow down its your trip we're just along for the ride.

Slow down too much and you run out of money potentially. To me, overland mc touring is about getting just a taste of the land, people and culture. You can come back later and 'zoom in' if you like.

Could have used a Cobra Crossing sign in that palm plantation. Yikes!😱 As a viewer, it has been nice to have a bit of an immersive experience in places I know I will never get to. Your viewpoints are always refreshing, informative, and fun. 😊

Well there is the old saying ... "Camp to ride or ride to camp ?". Me, I camp to ride ... I would prefer to ride the whole day and then camp for the necessary eat and sleep.
Yeah I guess it is a bit about that preference. I can hang out for a few days places before I get that antsy, let's-get-going vibe. Liss needs to be moving much sooner than me. -H
Loved your save Harry when you hit that bit of mud on the footpath. Don't know if I could hungry enough to eat what you can eat at times.... lol. Seemed to be a little more up market too... Most entertaining

About the only way I could eat that soup is if I didn't know what it was and I was blindfolded. Just looking at it did me in, I'm with Liss on this one.
