- Dawntrail added a TON of new music from FFIX, so naturally an updated version of this video needed to be made. Most of it is reused but there are a few new remixes in here.
Spoiler heavy, unfortunately, as a lot of the music is connected to a character and location that only appears from Level 97+.

Thanks for compiling this so I don't have to rewatch the cutscenes and be that leonardo di caprio meme recognising all the songs but not being able to place them.

By the nature of the song (and its title), I suspect it'll be something involving Gulool Ja or Wuk Lamat learning to accept help from others?
I about had a conniption when the driving theme of Lamat's pep talk with Gulool Ja centered around the phrase.
@@puttingthethotinthottbot I feel like wuk lamat already knows that. But gulool ja ja still got to find himself while being king. He will stay comparing himself to others and find himself to be short. Weak. Maybe holding everyone back. I'm sure we will find out who caused the end of the world causing them to jump to another star. Time passes by differently so he will definitely be bigger by then. The upcoming patches should be about him and Alexandria. I actually can't wait for his character arc
@@williamu27 We also have Sphene that may still be alive as well, which would match very well, because even though she was kind and caring to her people, she was still very much alone. I say she may be alive in one way or another because of the last scene we see at the end with her special memory thing floating in darkness and glowing.
Honestly, if I can dream even a little bit, then I would love to see Beatrix show up somehow and pull a, well, Beatrix, by being an unwinnable fight and just spamming mechanics for a bit before just winning with a Climhazzard

That'll be patch 7.1, even numbers for normal raid, odd numbers for alliance. You're looking at a wait of around 4 months.
I’m super excited for more 11 songs, I do hope they get (Dawntrail) versions tho
I really hope a new version of Onslaught is actually going to come by. I know that Baldesion Arsenal has Onslaught imported from FF11 itself, but it would be cool to have a remix.
Thanks for putting this together! FFIX was my first FF growing up so all the music is so nostalgic for me.

It's FATEs in the last zone, and the special boss FATE that can appear there too!

IX is my favourite Final Fantasy game. So all the little references and song choices made me smile. I actually went back and started a new playthrough of FF9, al ost immediately after finishing Dawntrail.
I can't wait to see where the expansions will take us, and if Soken will do wonders with remaking FF9 songs, loke he did with the FF4 music, previously.

There's a missing track here, Teardrops in the Rain from Weeping City of Mhach is a remix of Battle 1 from FF9. You can hear the main melody around 10 seconds into the song.
I'm aware of the similarities and I agree, but Soken himself debunked it a while ago and said it was coincidence. Soooo... I prefer to only include certainties ^^
Isn't the Hideout ost in Dawntrailer a remix from a music in FF9 or am I just plain wrong ?

Where is the original battle theme located?
It plays when you’re riding the Ark mount that you get with the Digital Collector’s Edition!
The Ark mount you get with the Deluxe version plays it while mounted.
Is there a list of which ones can be gotten as a Music Roll?
The two PvP ones, Vamo Alla Flamenco and the final dungeon theme (Court Jesters) can be obtained but none of the unedited FF9 original songs are available :(

@@FlappySealbecause it would cause an outrage. Just put them in the game to be earned instead. The raid may be IX inspired later on like Edens verse was and had many tracks from ff8 like blue hills, the extreme, battle theme and the e11s fate breaker music. Let’s wait and see.
Battle 1 and Fleeting Life are the basis for the level 100 dungeon's theme and are also utilized in the final boss theme as well.
You missed one. Weeping City of Mhach is a really slow remix of the FF9 battle theme
